Yunta is one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Charlotte. From the food, the incredible staff and the atmosphere, they get everything right. This is the perfect spot for a special occasion or snagging a more casual seat at the bar to witness their kitchen hard at work. The food and drinks are fantastic and unique in the best way. This restaurant is not something you find everyday and that’s what makes it one of Charlotte’s best.

One of the best restaurants in Charlotte. Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday. It was not busy. By 6:30 it was full. We sat at the bar. We split a Pisco Sour Flight. No need to brag on any food as it is all awesome. Ashley rocks!

what an incredible meal! peruvian is officially my favorite cuisine. be sure to get a reservation as the waittimes on a weekend evening are long.

the food has a diverse range of cold and warm dishes. the meat was seasoned so well. we were surprised by how flavorful the fried rice was. large portions.

We had already ordered online and the food was great and we decided to come down and enjoy the dinning experience. The restaurant is pretty nice, the lighting is deemed to make it feel more intimate and romantic. In terms of service it was just okay. I wish our assigned waiter had given us a few suggestions or perhaps explained the menu a bit more instead of just leaving us to our own devices. Despite that, the rest of the staff was pretty courteous and the food was excellent; the meat was so juicy and tender, cooked to perfection, the chicharron was crunchy and meaty, the jalea was fresh and don’t get me started on the dessert. I adored everything about the food. I will definitely recommend and come back.

Definitely a place to see and be seen as the atmosphere is buzzing. For prime time weekend reservations, you currently need to book about a month in advance. The drink menu has a nice selection of cocktails. The shrimp croquettes were amazing, as was the sesame salad. The yucca balls were good. The octopus entree was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We had the creme brulee for dessert. It was fruity, so it wasn't exactly what we were expecting, but it was a good closer nonetheless.

I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant during a trip to Charlotte.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! While I've had Peruvian food in the past, this was a more elevated, modern fusion experience. The menu is excellent with different ceviches, sushi rolls, and wok items.

I enjoyed a ceviche trio, the mariscos al fuego, chicharrones and causitas. This was my first time eating causitas which are refreshing potato appetizers with seafood on top, and they were my favorite. MUST ORDER!

The restaurant is very tight on space, but worth the wait.

Incredible dining experience! Food was so unique with absolutely delicious flavors we hadn’t tried before, not to mention every dish was a work of art. On top of that, all of the wait staff was very attentive and did a great job. 10/10, we can’t wait to go back.

Our first time here, we had read that it was one of the best restaurants in Charlotte and it came highly recommended by our friends. We sat at the bar and shared a Piso sour flight and ceviche trio and yaca balls. The food was nice portions and delicious. Our server/mixologist Ashley gave excellent recommendations and service. We came in early, cause this place gets full quickly after 6, you may need to make reservations. There is some parking in the back lot or street parking, but I recommend ride share so you can enjoy yummy cocktails. We would love to come back and try more things on the menu.
