Witloof (from Belgium)

Truly enjoyed the entire dining experience at Witloof more than I expected. We were looking for great food and really nice ambience without it being too casual nor too formal. This restaurant was perfectly that. We started off with bread & butter, my husband fell in love with the simple butter instantly and I, the bread. We had the Demi Demi coquette and escargot for appetisers. I must say the escargot was one of the best I had. I love the herbs that were put on it. Brings a lot of freshness to this escargot! The coquettes were delicious but not the highlight. We got the mussels au vin blanc and the steak with pepper corn sauce. We were very happy with our choices. The mussels were very delicious, again the best I’ve had. The pepper corn sauce was perfect! We had the recommended beer pairings! We were blown away by the in house beer. It was just too good! We were too full for dessert and got the in house made genever instead. Did not regret this decision! Smooth and delicious, many too choose from! Service was excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our dining here

Great place, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and great. We had a delicious dinner paired with great beer; it has a huge variety of beers. We will come back.

Really loved our dinner at Witloof in Maastricht. The food was incredible and the staff were super warm and attentive. Easily one of our favorite spots in town. We will definitely be back!

I had a delicious dinner here while I was in Maastricht! All of their food is delicious. The rabbit was very good, a little sweet but it had plums in it so to be expected. My husband enjoyed his steak. They have 300 beers here and you can go inside the cellar to pick one out if you like. The staff are very friendly and nice. The atmosphere is great. It was crowded when I went, so a reservation is helpful. Overall I would highly recommend.

I would like to visit Maastricht many times just to have dinner at Witloof again and again! Update: visited again after 8 months and the food is still excellent! A guarantee whenever one is in Maastricht!

When in Maastricht, eat Belgian food. When looking for an interesting restaurant to have dinner during a visit to Maastricht, we stumbled upon Witloof. I’m happy we did. The restaurant has a unique vibe and interior. Immediately you are greeted by the lovely staff. The menu has a variety of interesting dishes and a huge collection of beers. We started with 2 croquettes and complementary bread. For our mains we had the rabbit and the pork medallions, both cooked perfectly in lovely sauces. They were accompanied by a large portion of fries and a tasty gratin. I had 2 glasses of home-brewed jenever which I highly recommend. The food was delicious, the portions were big and the atmosphere was great. A mist visit when in Maastricht!

I really loved the service and the food. If I could, I would give 6 stars 🌟. You can find a really large selection of beers and really delicious Belgian dishes. Please make sure to book a table in advance through the website. They are mostly fully booked.

We googled and found this place with beer pairing. Never heard of such pairing so a group of us when. The pairing were well done. Do not disappoint us at all. We had mussels and it was delicious. Not overcooked, just done right. Both the husband and wife team were hilarious and service were superb. Will definitely go again when I Maastricht, Netherlands
