A mexican restaurant that specializes in cuisine from the southwest state of Michoacan. They have been operating for 30 years in the high desert. The food is delicious and comforting. Portions are very nice. Not overly spicy but very tasty. The restaurant has a nice airy seaside motif. Menu selections are plenty. The price point is at the market price. $$

Some of the best Mexican food in all of the high desert! Highly recommended. Authentic Mexican food and authentic atmosphere. The horchata is soooo good. Service is hands down the best!

I've been eating here with my family since 2010! Everytime we come the food is delicious! The family is always so kind to us! Service is always super quick! Love coming here!

Food was good expect the Tooth pick that was in my Chimichanga and the service was less than good the waitress came asked for bill and 10 mins. Later she was still chatting it up with other guests paying and just having a good time .while I sat and waited.. poor customer service food was flavorful.

My husband and I went there the other day we wanted to try some place new to us. We have a coupon booklet from a local fundraiser, before we brought up the coupon( buy 1 entree and 2 drinks get 1 entree free) the service was good. When we asked about the coupon they said it is only good for combination plate which was completely ok outside of the coupon doesn't say that. The combination section was hard to understand it says 1 item for 9 something or 2 items for 12 Something. Most of their meals are 12.99 it's not really a deal.They explained that one plate is 1 item and the the other is 2 they both come with beans and rice. You can't do 2 items for both plates.My husband wanted 2 bean and cheese burritos they said you can't do that because one burrito it too big it won't fit 2 of them.So he got a tostada and a burrito and I got a tostada. We did have our 2 year old son with us.we got him a kids enchilada with ice cream. Our plates came and the portions were so small it measured up to my son's child size meal. My husband and I both felt like we were being treated as if we didn't have any real money which isn't true and we would have been willing to spend quite a bit. We asked for a refill and she said only one and that's it I would have also been willing to pay for more refills. I don't like being told that I can't have more even though I'm willing to pay for it. We didn't really feel comfortable to stay for a while or even order more. We were there for about 30 minutes to an hour. After we ate we just wanted to leave. We spent about $30 there. Unfortionally neither of us were full we went elsewhere and got something better and better service. We will not be coming back and it's a shame because we thought we were going to experience and enjoy a new to us place.

No refills on drinks server lied about portion sizes ended up paying $12 for a kids size burrito, tostada was the size of a small cupcake and it's apparently a dollar for every tortilla you get on the side as I only got 2 in my side order. Extremely disappointed would not recommend.

You will not leave hungry! If you like shrimp/crab, you must try the burrito Del Mar or enchiladas Del Mar. You can order as a combo with rice and beans. Ever had fried ice cream? You've gotta try it!
It can be a bit warm inside in the summer; as of my last visit they use a swamp cooler and fans en lieu of air conditioning. Not a deal breaker for me though, the food is great.
