I almost canceled my reservation at The Wild Fig due to a few recent negative reviews, but I’m glad I didn’t. This place was outstanding in every way.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with charming architecture and perfect lighting that set the tone for a cozy yet elegant dining experience. The service was absolutely top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional.

And the food? Incredible! Every dish we tried was a standout. The French onion soup was rich and flavorful, the fig salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the pasta was cooked to perfection.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant yet still cozy. We ordered the onion soup, fig salad, lamb shanks and fettuccini, and all of it was delicious. The portion sizes were bigger than I expected so I was happy that I decided to share a main with my husband.
We will be adding this restaurant to our Aspen rotation.

Had an amazing time here. My wife and I came for some cocktails and a snack. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was attentive and engaging. The drinks and steak tartar were fantastic. Lastly the atmosphere was perfect. They were busy but still maintained a great ambience and it wasn’t loud somehow either. If you are in the area make a stop by here and enjoy!

We are a local and have been going to Wild Fig for years . However the last time we were there we were extremely disappointed . The Salmon which was 68 dollars had no taste whatsoever . I make better Salmon at home My husband and Son ordered the short Rib and it was very tough . The restaurant also was experiencing heating issues , so the room was a bit cold , as the night progressed it did get warmer . Upon leaving we saw the manager and he asked how our experience was and we told hom what we thought . His response to all of our comments about the food and temperature in the room was that he turned up the heat twice . Perhaps it might have been nice if he had said to us I’m sorry for your experience I hope you will try us again . We will not be back Aspen has to many great restaurants where the food is great and management Genuinely cares about your experience.

One thing I do want to mention is the lighting. They need to turn the lights up! Saw many people using flashlights to read the menu. Just turn them up a little bit it will be perfect

Had an amazing experience here when we came for a ski trip back in January 2023 so we were excited to come back during our stay this past weekend. However, that wasn’t the case this last visit. First the waiter told my husband he looked familiar and that he looked like he was someone who works as staff who help in the back. And even asked “are you sure you look familiar? You look like someone in the food business…” We tried to let it go but as a Hispanic that was pretty insulting. He should have just said he looked familiar and left it at that but instead of implying my husband was help in the food industry. WTH ‍♀️ Hispanic waiters are the best and harder workers. Do better next time.. unfortunately we won’t return

Lobster ravioli pasta was not cooked well. My husband was pretty done at that point. My lobster was super stuck to shell for my pasta too. Thankfully desert was good.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Wild Fig. I ordered the Fish in a Bag, which was salmon with zucchini and tomatoes. Absolutely delicious. The wait staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. Gorgeous, intimate restaurant and a great choice for fine dining in Aspen.

The Wild Fig is a really cute Italian restaurant in the heart of Aspen. I went with a big group of people and it was amazing overall. The menu serves a lot of fresh Northern Italian dishes and the drinks are delicious too. Staff are very warm and welcoming.
