Been coming for weeks now and it gets better every single time. The atomic salsa, the regular salsa, and the queso is absolutely amazing! There isn't a single thing I've had that I've disliked. The Monterey chicken is amazing! My husband loves the tamales.

Amazing service from the front staff to our waiter. Chips, dips, drinks, and food came out fast and fresh. The cherry limeade was very good with lots of flavor, the chips and cheese sauce were a great pre meal snack, and the main meal was excellent! And to top it off with a small dessert was good too, always coming back here for a good meal.

They got everyone there food n drinks with no problem.. even with several huge parties.. food was amazing and came out delicious.. salsa was sooo good n tastes fresh Everytime..

I recently visited Ted's Cafe Escondido and had a fantastic dining experience. The lively, vibrant atmosphere immediately made me feel welcome, with its traditional Mexican decor adding a festive touch.

I started with their taco nachos, which were an absolute hit. The nachos were perfectly crisp, generously topped with seasoned beef, melted cheese, fresh jalapeños, and a dollop of sour cream, making each bite a delight.

For the main course, I decided to try the enchiladas, which were a true highlight of the meal. The enchiladas were bursting with rich, authentic flavors, and the tender, marinated meat paired perfectly with the savory sauce.

Of course, I couldn't resist sampling a few other items. The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the queso was creamy and satisfying. The fresh, in-house made tortillas added an extra touch of authenticity to the meal, making it even more enjoyable.

The service was outstanding. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff remained friendly, attentive, and efficient. My food arrived promptly, and the servers made sure I had everything I needed throughout the meal.

To top it all off, the complimentary sopapillas at the end of the meal were a sweet and delightful treat, perfectly capping off an already fantastic dining experience.

While there was a bit of a wait to be seated, it was well worth it. Ted's Cafe Escondido has quickly become one of my favorite spots for delicious Mexican cuisine, and I look forward to my next visit.

Ted’s is always a great place to enjoy some good Mexican food. The setup is amazing and the food is always consistently good. Our server and the hosts are perfect on the endgames and the team focus on making sure you are taken care of while there keeps Ted’s a go to place.

Was here at opening for a luncheon and they seemed to be quite overwhelmed even though our table was like the only one initially prior to noon. I do not know if it was bc they had a shadower following the one waiter but there should’ve been more than one waiter. We had to constantly ask for more salsa, ask for the tortillas for our fajitas and then each individual had to request a Sopaipilla, which is normally given automatically without asking.

I have been to this location many times and never had issues but I went this week and it seems to have gone downhill. I ordered the house margarita which was awful tasted like pure sugar aka simple syrup straight from the bottle. I could clearly tell it was premade. I asked the waitress and she confirmed it was. My guacamole was not even mashed up it had big chunks of avocado. The waitress never refilled our salsa or Tortillas. I was not impressed with service or drinks. Food was pretty good
