The food was great! Tasted awesome and was reasonably priced! My only complaint was that they needed more people working the tables, service was just a little slow and lacking

Walking into this place takes me back…. The food , the decor , the ambiance ,and price points hit all the right spots. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful when ordering . I appreciate the fact that all Menu items are cook to order . In a day and age where everything is “hot’n’ready” means losing out on quality. Definitely a must try if you are in the Abilene area

Came in on Easter Sunday 2022 with my Wife and Mother. My Mother and I got the Happy Family plate. And My Wife got Vegetable Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup. The Happy Family plate was so good! Ithad Shrimp, Pork, Lobster Meat, Baby Carrots etc. with a delicious sauce! My Wife thoroughly enjoyed the Egg Drop Soup! She also said that her Fried Rice was terrific. Our Waitress was very sweet!We will visit again.
Edit: I forget to mention that the Restaurant is beautiful inside. It has been upgraded since the last time I was there, when a different owner/business ran the building. It was beautifully decorated and peaceful. It was exceptionally clean!!! We had a great dinner.

Tried this place once before years ago and thought I would give it another try.
We started with the Crab Angels. They were disappointing, flavor was bland and the filling was nonexistent. They were very dry as a result.
The Wonton soup was bland and the dumplings were very chewy and pasty. The egg rolls were good but the dipping sauce was to sweet and runny.
For an entree, I went with the Jalapeño Chicken. I would say the flavor was ok, but the chicken was over fried so badly that it was like eating beef jerky. The rice was bland as well, the dish was served with no sauce so needless to say it was extremely dry. To top it off, the waiter never filled my drink from the beginning so I ate the entire dry meal without a drink.
My wife got the sweet and sour chicken. She ate about a quarter of it and left the rest.
This wasn’t so bad I wouldn’t go back, maybe order something else and only if someone else wants to go.

Sunrise is magical. I haven’t had Chinese food this good in years. Plus, it has such a lovely ambience, the staff is incredibly warm, kind, and responsive and the food came quickly. I can’t recommend Sunrise enough. Can’t wait to come back again!

La comida es buena lo que pasa es que tienen algunos empleados que no saben tratar al cliente en varias ocaciones he ido a pedir por la ventanilla pero me sale un chinito un poco grosero para expresarse y el servicio no es completo en varias ocaciones he tenido que tocarle la ventana porque no me da los cubiertos y tampoco me da el recibo

Great local eatery with a large array of menu options. Attentive service and large portions; exactly what you’d expect from a family-owned and operated restaurant. Our favorites in this visit were Honey Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and General Tso seasoned-to-taste.

Large portions, good variety of food. Lemon chicken is a rare find anymore and theirs was really good. Good egg drop soup. Combo fried rice needs a bit more meat. Good prices for what you good.
