It was great. I went back to have a second opinion and it was wonderful. The server was great and the food was mmmmm. Crispy and tasty fries and the burger was too good. They even have kids meal for 6 bucks.

Update Nov 2024: Still enjoy going here especially if I'm in the mood for sports. Potato skins are still my favorite because they are basically potato halves and super delicious. I like some pico with them. We just moved to the area and this was our first trip to State House. There's no doubt that we will be back. The bartender seemed responsible for too many people but she still stayed on top of our needs. I didn't love my Buffalo Chicken Salad but it could be a different experience on a different day. Romaine is so variable. On this particular day it wasn't very green and therefore had very little flavor. The potato skins were delicious and I really liked the mule. I tasted my husband's chicken fried steak and it needed salt but otherwise was very good. There is a broad variety on the menu. I look forward to trying many more things.

We came here for a quick bite. Super affordable and very nice staff. Spacious inside with decent parking. Great lunch , specials, we got the nachos, which was plenty for two. Very nice atmosphere and looking forward to another visit.

I ate here with a friend a few days ago. It was a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. We had excellent service! Everyone was attentive and courteous.

It was a late lunch, so it was not crowded, but the seating areas were spacious. The chicken fried steak was seasoned well and had a sausage gravy on it that made for a unique and delicious taste. The burgers are thick and juicy, and the fries are the slim cut with just enough salt.

Great service, extremely good fried chicken sandwich.. the breading was crispy and flavorful. The house made ranch was perfect with the fries, a little sour, which I love. A ton of diffenet options on the menu for the type of place it is.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Picked up one of the kiddos from the airport who was "starving." I had been here a while ago and was hoping the experience was the same.
Our waitress, Meghan, was attentive. She kept our drinks full, took and served our order and kept checking in with us.
I got the Colorado Cheese steak, Chile cream cheese, with fries and the boy got the Buffalo chicken loaded mac and cheese with crispy chicken.
Mine was good, but barely had the cream cheese. It seemed like it only made it to the end of the bun. The meat was good and had a fresh cooked taste. The kiddo thought his was salty. He did enjoy it, saying he would order it again.

The first bartender took forever to assist us. If I ever like, finally helped me that my drink was done by the time I was asked for my order. The second bartender Lindsay was much more respectful and efficient. I asked her what drink that I would like and she said she makes this Bellini drink and of course I had to try it.. oh by far! She was great, and so is the drink. The first woman not only was slow, but in efficient, and if that was my only opinion of this place, I would not have recommended it however, Lindsey definitely made the difference. There’s also a great outdoor seating area and most of the walls open my garage doors fantastic that potato skins were great.
