C'est mes ièmes fois diner à ce magnifique petit restau, la chose la plus remarquable ,depuis à l'entrée on est supris par un bon acceuille . Les gens sont courtois et en tout ce la les mets tres apetissants, on deguste tous avec de bon apetit sous l'ecoute de bonne musics de divers genres. À Port Saint Lucie il n'y a pas encore son equivalent dans le domaine de Cordon Bleu.

As someone who frequents countless restaurants in the Port St. Lucie area, I have to say that South Florida Restaurant and Bar stands out in a big way. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this hidden gem has quickly become one of my absolute favorites.

From the moment you step inside, you can feel the warm, family-owned charm. It’s cozy and inviting, yet the food is anything but ordinary. As someone who prides themselves on having a refined palate, especially when it comes to flavors, this place consistently impresses. Every dish feels like it’s been slow-cooked to perfection, with rich flavors that blend seamlessly.

While they serve a variety of traditional American dishes, my personal favorite—and one I strongly recommend everyone try at least once—is their legume. It’s a slow-cooked beef stew that’s bursting with flavor. Each bite is a testament to the care and time they put into their food. And for those who love fried pork, their griot is a crowd favorite. Being of Cuban-Caribbean descent, I’ve had my fair share of fried pork, but theirs is exceptional. It’s cooked so perfectly that even the fat turns gelatinous, melting in your mouth.

I could rave about South Florida Restaurant and Bar for hours, but honestly, don’t just take my word for it. Give them a try, and I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

I went with a group of friends Sunday early evening. The menu was great cause there was something for everyone. All day breakfast, sandwiches and wraps and traditional Haitian dishes as well . It was my first time trying Haitian food and I loved it ! I had roasted turkey in a nice sauce and black rice and plantains . The service was great and welcoming. Nice family owned business .

I'd read positive reviews, and the menu looked great, so our family stopped in for brunch. We were welcomed by Sophia, who's part of the family that owns this restaurant. She was a wonderful server and offered much appreciated insights and recommendations on their menu.

I had the oxtail, and it was spectacular! Along with the black rice and plantains. I also had to taste the corned beef hash...outstanding.

All meals are cooked to order, so you can enjoy relaxing and conversing while they prepare your meal.

Wish I lived closer. I will be visiting again!

The Haitian griote is so delicious with the picklies and the rice the plantains are soft and perfect the french fries are seasoned and delicious and when the corned beef was a little tough they switched out our meal completely for us and made us corned beef hash and eggs and the hash is the best hash we ever tasted. It is very chill and relaxing and mature environment.

My first time there…THEIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS! This is my new favorite spot. 12/10!!! Even the LEMONADE!! Was Delicious! Service was amazing and the ladies are so nice! I will definitely be back.
