Laid back Thai/Vietnamese fusion restaurant. Everything was really delicious. I especially loved the chicken wontons, green curry, mama pad keemao, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. Each table has a tray of additional chili condiments to customize your dish to your desired heat level. Definitely will be getting take out in future too. So happy to have this place on the east side of Charlotte.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I don’t consider myself a Thai enthusiast per se but this place just didn’t hit the mark for me.

Food: We ordered the crab wontons, calamari, pad thai and lychee sweet tea. The lychee sweet tea was amazing and unfortunately the best part of the meal. The crab rangoon had too much cream cheese for us. You couldn’t taste the crab at all. The sauce that comes with it is good though. The calamari was also just ok. Small pieces of calamari but the sauce was also good. The worst part of the meal for us both was the pad thai. Pad thai from our experience is always a savory dish. This pad thai was sweet….overly sweet. Neither one of us finished it because it just didn’t taste “Thai” at all. For reference I’ve had Thai at several restaurants in Charlotte and NY and this was nothing like any one of those restaurants. I hate to leave a bad review but this isn’t the place for us. It was busy so obviously there are fans of this place.

Service: Service was great. Our server was kind and attentive.

Atmosphere: Great place for a date night or friendly gathering.

1st day of soft opening, and it was fairly busy. I ordered the Lychee Sweet Tea, it was sooo sweet, but it had the flavor, I had to add unsweetened tea to make it just right. The calamari was good, some of the seasoning was too much & some wete just right. It wasn't a big portion but still alright. I got the Boat Noodles, 1st time having it ever, it reminded me of a really strong beef flavor soup, lots of meat & noodles, which was very good. Jon's fried rice, (typical of him (Caucasian)), he said was one of the best flavored he has had. The sticky rice & mango was great. Not a big menu, but not a big place either. Will come back for different menu items.

Just had a chance to finally try Sen Mee Noodle house and not disappointed! Very flavorful and packed with spice - just the way we liked it. Portions are good in size and highly recommend an appetizer with your bowls as the prices are extremely fair

This is an authentic but new style cafe/restaurant with a lot of cool hip decor on their walls and bathrooms

We’ve been twice now during the soft opening, and can’t wait until Sen Mee is open full time. We will for sure become regulars. So far we’ve tried the Summer Rolls & Pot Stickers. The Pad Thai, Mama Pad Keemao, The green curry, and the Kaprow. As well as the mango rice and lava cake. We loved it all and can’t wait to try everything else!

Enjoyed our takeout order - food was hot and ready in about 25 minutes. Even though I was only picking up, I was attended to quickly and the atmosphere seemed very cozy, I’d like to go back for dine in.

We tried the spring rolls and crab Rangoon - both very yummy.

For entrees we got 2 orders of lo mein, one with chicken and one with tofu. Both were great but the ‘mild’ lo mein was a little spicier than expected (compared to the ‘medium’ lo mein it seemed spicier but we still enjoyed both)

I had the Tom Yum Noodle Soup with tofu and extra veggies - YUM!!! I got it medium and it was the perfect spice level- barely spicy but just enough to cut the sweetness of the broth. I added the fresh basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts that were included on the side. Not pictured, but for takeout the noodles are separated from the broth during transport which I always appreciate.
Happy to have Sen Mee in the neighborhood and I can’t wait to go back!

I went here with my friends and we had a great time. The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. The only downside in my opinion is that they use single-use disposable dishes and cutlery but overall, this place is excellent :))
