I went here for dinner and brunch, and all the meals were delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm not a resident. This restaurant is open to the public. You have to get here before 7:30pm, as a guest, to enter the preserve. After 7:30 p.m., there is no gate guard to let you into the property. It is casual dining, shorts and a collar shirt are fine. I also recommend making a reservation for this restaurant. There is plenty of parking in a free parking lot.

Just dined (FIRST TIME) at Salted Brick… it MUST BE RESIDENTS that rate this restaurant so high. We were immediately greeted upon entering with a friendly smile by the hostess — great start! Our waitress (who I’ll not name) was MORE INTERESTED in “chatting” with other servers and the kitchen staff than waiting on us!! Extremely disappointing!! The restaurant wasn’t busy — no excuse for the poor/slow/inattentive service! Couldn’t get refills… couldn’t get another beer… Wanted to order a “Cuban” sandwich (it’s on the menu) without mayo — BUT the kitchen PRE-MAKES ALL THE CUBANS WITH MAYO! Really? You pre-make your $15+ sandwiches so people cannot change and/or remove a condiment? We ordered 2 salted brick burgers — both came out hot and cooked perfect!! YAY! Also ordered the turkey club - again perfect! And the grilled chicken sandwich — over sauced with bbq (just too much). MY TAKE on the Salted Brick — it has potential… kitchen sent out great food (that we ordered). DON’T pre-make your Cuban - that’s just shameful!! And your servers — NEED RETRAINING!!

Beautiful Location and Food doesn’t disappoint burger was amazingly tender with great flavor butternut squash soup was on par too. Mix drinks are reasonably priced and delicious.

If your anywhere close to the Ocala area I highly recommend dining here. Your view is overlooking a golf course. Service was excellent. Food was reasonably priced and excellent. Special thanks to our waitress Ivy. You were awesome.

After three years of living in Ocala Preserve and approximately 10 visits to Salted Brick I finally am going to write this review. We had such great hope for Salted Brick and it continues to fall short of the expectations a resort style living club should have. Only once have I had a meal that was acceptable. I can’t even say the meal was exceptional because it’s was a standard Blt with avocado. The second time I ordered it, it didn’t even have avocado on it. It came with a small smear of guacamole. The guacamole wasn’t even homemade The texture and consistency was much like what came out of a plastic container from Walmart. When asked why there was no avocado, I was told that you have to ask specifically for avocado on it. but why is it listed on the menu as an avocado BLT then? There has been no consistency with menu items over the years. Order one time and next time you get something totally different. One visit I had reservations but no table were available and was told by the hostess that they didn’t know when a table would be available. Of which they followed up with reservations, don’t guarantee you a table. Our last visit yielded another disappointment. This time it was cold soup, and the wrong soup being served. Taking another half hour to receive the correct soup. Which was served well after the entrée. I won’t even review the entrée. Just simply disappointing time after time. This is a perfect venue with beautiful view of the pond and golf course yet the food and service are consistently disappointing and horribly noisy.

Came in for Lunch on a Sunday. Nice atmosphere, fair view on the Patio. Had to wait to be seated. Service was spotty. Had a little issue with refill on water and coffee, although not really busy. Food was a little on the lukewarm side. Butter would not melt on pancakes.

Hostess by the name of Angela was down right rude. Went for a relaxing dinner with my husband and daughter which was ruined. Angela was rude to other employees as well as rude to customers. Her demeanor was disgraceful and disgusting. Advice to Salted Brick - dismiss Angela immediately.
