Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a full stocked bar and great food. The atmosphere was on the louder side hard to hear sometimes, but it's to be expected when the pub is full of happy customers enjoying their time. The staff checks your ID right away when you sit at your table. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking was easy to get to. The food was themed to be English style food from fish and chips, scotch eggs and bangers and mash. The food did NOT disappoint. We will definitely be returning to try more food and drinks off thier menu. 8/10

Quips is quickly turning into one of my favorite places. I love the cozy atmosphere, and especially on week nights, it's super low-key. The prices for drinks are very reasonable too. I don't feel like I'm breaking the bank every time I visit, which is nice. Overall, 10/10 in my book. I'll be back, probably too often.

Best pub I have ever been to. Great and fast service. The food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. We walked from the Cork Factory hotel. From there, the location was excellent.

The atmosphere of this place is really good. The food is pretty good too. My hubs liked the mushy peas dip for the fish and chips. I found the fish and chips to be a little wanting, but still good. The service on the night we were here was off.
It took awhile to get our drinks ordered and still a minute to get them. The runner who brought our drinks asked if we were ready to order so we did, about 10 minutes later our server came around to take our order. Thankfully it was already taken. We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and got a side Caesar salad with no chicken. We might’ve said something, but after all the waiting we needed refills and had to ask for them. We didn’t want to give them any more trouble than that. Probably could have used another round, but the server was chatting up someone at a table near us most of the night. Probably a regular.
The sticky toffee pudding was really good except it had way too much caramel sauce. I’d probably ask for it on the side next time. Overall if you’re patient this place was really good. I’d definitely go again.

This cozy place has the BEST fish & chips around. (Not pictured because we devoured it before I could snap a photo) The fish is crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The servings are always generous and leave you with leftovers. This past trip my husband and I tried The Dipper (an app on the menu) as well as the Mexican street corn soup (a special) and both did not disappoint and we would highly recommend. So if you’re looking for a cozy dinner this is a great option in Lancaster!

A lot of food and everything was excellent. Picture is of the Fish and Chips which I highly recommend. Cheesesteak was great and baked French onion soup was perfect.

Great place that I have been to many times. Never any issues with food, drinks or service. I was actually super impressed with our last visit our waitress stopped and said that the nachos didn’t look like the cheese was fully melted and wanted to get it fixed. Which I thought they tasted great as is. They took it and brought out new ones and removed it from the bill.

Highly recommend going and having some drinks and getting The Dipper to snack on!

It's a good place to grab a bite and have a couple of beers.
Lamb pie I had was good, Sticky Toffee pudding was awesome.
It took like 15 minutes to get it but I was worth.
I think my party arrived at peak time and they seem to be short staffed so there were a couple mishaps with the food and the bill.
I recommend sit further from the restroom area to avoid high traffic if you have an option.
