MUST VISIT!!! Dined in on a quiet Sunday evening at sunset. Beautiful grounds in the lovely quaint area of Buffalo Gap. Upscale rustic dining. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean. Fire in the fireplace was cozy and welcoming. It was our first time to visit and we were grateful for our waitress’s advice. We split a 32oz Porterhouse that was grilled to perfection. The salad, rolls and green chile hominy were fabulous. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Outdoor areas were beautiful and can only imagine the wonderful outdoor events that are held here! Worth the drive. Several neighboring diners were from out of town visiting for the first time thanks to the reputation of the steaks. Don’t miss this gem if you’re anywhere near Abilene, TX!

Well, y'all, what can I say?
Perini's Ranch Steakhouse is phenomenal. It was our first time going and we were not disappointed. We had a reservation for 6 pm, and from the moment we walked in, our experience was great. The hostesses were so sweet, and our waiter was GREAT.
We started our evening with jalapeño bites. Mexican martini and a peach bourbon something. It's all very tasty!
I ordered the pork chop plate with a Cesar salad and green chili hominy. The pork chops were huge, and the hominy was fabulous. My SO ordered a peppered strip steak with a side salad. Y'all, it was so good. Let's not forget we received a basket of bread. The service, atmosphere, and food make this establishment way above a 5.

This was my first visit to Perini Ranch Steakhouse and the local buzz was well-deserved. The steaks were everything you dream of: juicy, tender, and cooked to absolute perfection. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavor of the meat without overpowering it. The side vegetables were also delicious, cooked with care and offering a welcome contrast to the richness of the steak.

We had the bread pudding for dessert and was just as good quality and the rest of the meal! It's probably the best I've ever had.

There was just one minor misstep: the dinner rolls. They were a bit dry and lacked flavor, which was surprising considering the exceptional quality of everything else.

The drinks were another highlight. They were well-mixed and generous in size, making you feel like you got your money's worth.

Our server, Alexis, deserves special recognition. Friendly, attentive, and always on point with drink refills, she also provided excellent recommendations that helped us navigate the menu.

Overall, my first visit to Perini Ranch Steakhouse was an absolute delight. From the exceptional food to the attentive service, it was a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

We started with the Chopped Blue Cheese Salad, loaded with crispy bacon, blue cheese crumbles, fresh tomatoes, and a creamy dressing—it was the perfect way to kick off our meal. The bread was warm and delicious, setting the tone for an incredible dining experience.

For the main course, we indulged in the special bone-in filet, grilled to perfection and paired with flavorful grilled mushrooms and onions. As a side, we tried the Zucchini Perini, a delightful dish of baked zucchini in a rich meat sauce topped with shaved parmesan and bread crumbs. Every bite was pure comfort.

To top it all off, we had the Strawberry Shortcake, made from a cherished family recipe. The homemade sugar biscuit, warm strawberries, and heavy cream were the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend Perini Ranch for a truly exceptional dining experience!
