We were a larger party of 10 and had made reservations. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and the owner (I think) welcomed us.
Several people had been here before. There are options for everyone. I had the vegetarian sampler, which was delicious and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant has great ambience with Afghan artwork and crafts adorning the walls.

Really good food. Fairly priced. Packed with flavor. The rice has a unique taste to it. The tea is top notch. Bathroom was clean. Overall hygiene of this restaurant is above average. Near a brewery. Convenient for drinks before or after dinner, or while you wait for seat openings.

We have been to the restaurant for the second time and we had a pleasant experience. They don't do reservations and will have to wait sometimes as they are very busy. We were seated at the bar tables until one table was free, then switched to the regular table. The food and service are great. It's a nice restaurant so try them out.

Went there for dinner today for first time and I loved it. Cozy place, great service and owner is very nice and friendly. They’ve been in business for 6 years at this location now. Great place in falls church to go for lunch or dinner and have a drink ? because they have a full bar and good selection of wines. Perfect place to go with family and friends or date night dinner. I highly recommend it.

The neighborhood gem in Falls Church, VA is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s authentic Afghan food, so delicious and fresh. I like to try a variety of things when dining there, and Matt the owner, is so attentive and hospitable. Be sure to check it out next time your near Falls Church. It’s located across from the actual Falls Church from circa 1732 at 114 East Fairfax Street. They also have a full bar.

My friend took me to Panjshir Restaurant in the City of Falls Church for lunch. The Afghan cuisine had yummy, new tastes with many options for me, a vegan. My friend, an omnivore, declared the lamb in her dish, delicious. We enjoyed Cardamom tea, and I asked about the exceptionally long grain rice that turned out to be "Mother Rice" from the Himalayan Mtns. Prices were reasonable but portions were huge; thus we both took home a second meal for one price! The authentic decor is also elegant, and it wasn't crowded, though we came at the end of lunch. If you seek a rare gem among restaurants, you'll find it in Panjshir!

Ah-maaaa-zingg!!! Super flavorful and delicious food. Generous portions and heavenly combinations keep us coming back for more. The lamb is so tender it’s surreal. Give this wonderful restaurant a try and you’ll be raving about their food too. Ample seating and beautiful decor abound, the bar is well stocked and the service is efficient and friendly.

One of my favorite restaurants in Falls Church! The food is fairly priced and packed with flavor, everything I've tried on the menu I have loved. The atmosphere is intimate and the service is wonderful. I've grown close with the owner, as I eat here several times a month. I always look forward to eating here to talk with the staff and have amazing food. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
