Just perfect!! Ce restaurant est simplement réservé aux bons épicuriens, la viande et le pain sont top digne des meilleures resto français. La viande est cuite au feu de bois ce qui la rends unique de par le goût. N'hésitez pas à leur rendre visite

Best steaks we've had in a long while. I am so excited for our next visit. They have the classy vibe down without being pretentious. Staff is friendly and very courteous. The food is what you will keep going back for. Get their clam chowder and skirt steak! It's worth the money ?

One of the best restaurants I've tried in awhile! The clam chowder with bone marrow was one of the best I've had. The octopus and tripe was super tasty. The wine was lovely, and so was the service. If I have to be nit-picky, I wish the octopus was slightly more chewy and less tender (usually I like my octopus/seafood with a bit of bounce and crunch) and that the steak was hot from the grill. The beet salad was a bit of a miss; it tasted fine but the dish felt a bit uninspired and the white onion rings seemed out of place. Wish I had room to try dessert!

Amazing food! The restaurant also has a good ambiance and the meats are cooked from a wood fire grill! The skirt steak and pork chop was good! Porkchop was very flavorful and well seasoned. Dessert was also really good

Our rating: 4.2 out of 5. Service was excellent- 5. Food was good, nothing exceptional. The skirt steak was the best — tender, but already cooling. Ribs were too fat. Roasted potatoes not crispy. The Tongue was tasty & interesting in a good way, but salad, sautéed spinach w/mushrooms were just good enough-nothing to remember or order again. Beef empanada was with raisins— too sweet. Malbec ($135 a bottle) was good, yet we had much better for less.

Portions are big, so we brought home some leftovers

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. They have a small, private parking lot so we did not have to worry about street parking. When we entered they offered to take our coats then directed us to our seats right next to the grill where we were able to watch the amazing chefs prepare dinner. There was a delicious complimentary mushroom soup amuse bouche that night. I had the grass fed ribeye and my wife had the flank steak and both were cooked perfectly. Amazingly tender and flavorful. Our server was kind & patient and her beer and wine recommendations were on-point. This is definitely a "splurge" meal but we will absolutely go back.

OX is a vibe. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is the best . We have been here several times, and we are never disappointed. Last night, the dessert special took me back to my childhood with one bite. It was a blackberry cobbler with fig ice cream. It reminded me of my grandmother's. What an amazing experience.

We have been coming here for over 8 years and it is our favorite restaurant in Portland (and we are foodies)! Excellent service every time, warm & welcoming & have never been disappointed by the food. So happy that they are open again. You know the restaurant is excellent if they survived Covid. Highly recommend!
