Ocean Hai was very enjoyable to dine at as hotel guests. I will be returning as a local. It is a great place to dine and watch the sunset. The surf and turf roll was fabulous as well as the shrimp tempura roll with mango. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The overall atmosphere seemed a little snobby, the workers were very upright but friendly to us. The process they used to expedite orders seems old school and not efficient. Just some feedback, but overall great food and service. Looking forward to returning

My Fiance and I did the chef selected 5 course meal (featured for the Tampa restaurant week). Our server Kaia was so attentive, very knowledgeable, and overall one of the best servers we have ever encountered. I work in hospitality and have a high standard of service especially when I am dining and he marked all the boxes!

The food was nothing short of exceptional. The creativity, freshness, and influence of seasonal fruits/ vegetables was very pleasing.

We dined on the patio and were blessed to enjoy the sunset. The views are breathtaking. Every employee we encountered was so nice!

I am not one to write review ever, but this place sure as heck deserved one!

Such a refreshing change from the common cuisines in this area. From the moment you walk in you can tell this is a classy restaurant. The service was top-tier from the hostess to the server, Blanca. We started with the pot stickers a margarita and chocolate martini. Chefs kiss! For our entrees we shared the gulf shrimp fried rice, Hawaiian rolls and the crazy rich roll. Everything was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was amazing. A live singer and beautiful sunset made this a core memory for us as we celebrated our anniversary. Highly recommend this place. We will most definitely be back.

The food, the service, the ambiance. All top notch! I ate the short rib as my main course and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. And their risotto. I've never had a more delicious risotto. So creamy and garlicky. Chef Joey stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was up to par. I even asked if I could get some bread (I drank a bit ?) and he proceeded to make us some fresh sourdough rolls. Dessert was almost too beautiful to eat. Almost. I devoured every bite! We had Japanese cheesecake and an Ube matcha ice cream that was out of this world. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant if you want great food w great service! Our waitor, John, was very knowledgeable about the food and was quick and attentive to our needs. Oh, and order the Island Margarita! You won't regret it! I'll be going back for my birthday dinner next month!

I was worried about the rating, but it was fantastic. It's located inside Wyndham and facing the beach. We dined outside, and the sunset was so beautiful. We had several items. The shrimp pot stickers were great, but the sushi was delicious. I highly recommend the Mexican roll. I am a big fan of spicy tuna in any form. The volcano roll lump crab was too spicy, but worth it! We made a reservation, but we had no wait when we arrived. I think we missed the Spring Break rush. I want to mention that you can't dine in coverups, board shorts, swimwear etc. It's by the pool on the 1st floor.

Wow, what a great place to eat right on the beach. Pricey, yes. Kid friendly - maybe but honestly dont bring kids to this nice restaurant and ruin others' experience. Dress code, yes and it's good thing. No beach cover ups, board shorts. The restaurant is inside the Wyndham Grand and there is valet parking. The food was excellent, and so was the food presentation. Get the beef & broccolini, the broccolini is lightly tempura battered, and the beef is so tender and melts in your mouth. The grouper is a nice 6.5-7oz piece, and if you like butter, you'll like the sauce it comes in with the veggies and fingerling potatoes. The Alaskan roll and the Hawaiian roll are a must try. They had key lime pie, and it did not disappoint. I would recommend ? and look forward to dining here again.

Absolutely mid across the board, especially considering the pricing and the added 19% gratuity. The only reason I gave a two star is because they did have a good old fashioned and the ambiance was nice, but the food? I’m not sure where the 5 stars are coming from. We ordered appetizers and after eating them, immediately decided to not continue. Service was barely there. Very disappointed. If you need to call the restaurant, don’t even bother. They don’t answer and they don’t return your messages. Tried for multiple days in a row to get a Christmas menu because it was nonexistent on the Internet.. finally had to physically go there and it took 15-20 minutes for someone to finally produce a Christmas menu. Very frustrating because I’m not going to make reservations for a restaurant before I know what they’re serving. Menu sounded great but was poorly executed.
