I ordered a lamb platter and the portions are super generous (It was enough for 2 meals!) The rice was aoft and flavourful. I would recommend extra white sauce even though when he was drizzling on top that it looked like too much. For $8 plus a soda?! It's quite the deal. The server guy served us with a smile! I would definitely recommend. Parking in the Dollar Tree lot.

This new worker I think he is Spanish or something he says “bro” unlike the two other Arab or Yemeni guys that work there, gave me very little amounts of rice and chicken and burnt chicken and I found bones in it too.

I used to come here very frequently few years ago when I was younger, then I had stopped coming because I got a small portion of rice couple of times, so small that it felt like I was carrying an empty bag home, then they said they have a two spoon rice rule, so the workers would give me one spoon and half spoon and give me some rotten tomatoes and normal lettuce and I’d be on my way and be disappointed when I got home. And “just shut up and eat”

Recently I ordered lamb platter and mix, lamb platter had 45% empty space because gravity pulled all the food to one side of the box revealing the empty space in the box. And mix platter had 25% empty space which i didn’t mind because that’s near the normal amount other two guys gave.I could not take a photo the last time because nowadays I go to numidia cart after 3-4am and come home tired and sleepy. So I forgot to take a photo.

I thought he gave little amount by mistake because he was in a rush because there were more people but no, he proves me wrong it’s not his mistake it’s deliberate.

This time I encountered this new guy again and he gave me extremely small amount of rice on the first box and was about to on the second box yet again when I told him give me more rice he said “it will cost more,” he then gave 2-3 ‘teaspoons’ of rice and pretended like he gave me “extra rice” it was less rice than any other worker would give normally and he tried to charge me $17 for the other box where he gave me 2-3 teaspoons worth “more” rice. I ended up giving him $16.50 and he gave me -20% less rice & -60% chicken than the other workers would give at $16.

Chicken was like small wires and burnt and it had bone and there were only 2-3 half inch cubes of meat in there and 2 or so paper thin pieces, there was almost no meat in total as you can see in the photo.

First photo you can see the small “wires/linear pieces” between the box second photo you can see my fork and compare the height of the amount of rice he gave then on the next photo you can see I moved the food to show you how much empty space there actually is, then I took a photo of the whole box to give you an idea of the total empty space in the box at $8 and you can see how little food you get and how little chicken if there was any at all, then the last photo you can see the bone piece I found after I began eating this I also tasted some burnt chicken of course there was no chunk I could take a photo of, it was like powdered burnt chicken covered up with white sauce.

So here is the rundown, I’ll reduce my visits to this spot if not stop altogether, why would I go here if this new one will try to rip me off everytime and give me burnt powdered small quantities of meat covered up with white sauce and little rice for $16 oh wait he wants to charge extra so $18 which is more than a whole hour of my hard manual labor outside in the cold, when I can go to another cart near me? I came here which was few blocks farther than the other cart because numidia gave 80-85% filled box of food and other place gave 70-75% and this new guy at Numidia is giving 55%-60% for $16 and he wants $18 if not more money for less food at low quality. Meaning burnt, little to no meat, and some meat crumbs covered up with sauce.

From now on if I ever plan to come back here I’ll call and if this guy answers the call I’m not gonna bother ordering on that day, if I walk by and I want to buy something and I see him I won’t bother ordering.

Imagine being so stingy you give less than the due amount then you give few teaspoons of rice which is still less, and try to overcharge someone ?‍♂️ that’s right “teaspoons” this was so infuriating I was actually planning to tip whoever was working today because I respect those who work at cold like myself outside this new guy changed my mind real quick.

This has got to be one of the best halal carts in Queens. The food taste amazing and well seasoned. The fragrant aromas and warm service made me feel welcomed and eager to indulge in their flavorful offerings. The zesty white sauce and spicy hot sauce added an extra kick that delighted my taste buds. Definitely recommended.

I recently tried this halal cart in NYC, and it’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the mix over rice, and to my surprise, it came with a Coca-Cola—all for just $8. In today’s economy, finding such great value is rare, especially with how delicious the food was. The flavors were spot-on, and the portion size was generous. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for tasty food on a budget!

I remember this place being good but it's been going downhill for the past several months. I don't like to write reviews but that's how strongly I feel after giving it a few more chances. Most halal food spots ask for your preference of veggies/sauce/etc. But not here. The guy makes the food however he wants and it's not even worth eating once you get home given the taste. Time for me to find a halal food spot that treats their patrons better.

Better price and taste than most restaurants in Queens. $8 for a drink and chicken over rice which is not bad considering that inflation has bumped up the prices everywhere. Food is delicious and filling with a decent portion. Support local businesses and halal carts
