My husband surprised me with reservations here and this place did not disappoint. I have lived in this area for 8 yrs and had no idea we had a French restaurant! It was a very charming quaint place with great ambiance. The food was delicious. My husband had rack of lamb and I had the seafood platter. We shared cheesecake for dessert and it was a great end to a great meal. I would definitely come back.

After one of our neighbors bragged about this restaurant, we decided to try it for my birthday meal out. We started with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. It was just ok. My wife ordered the duck and I had elk. Both were good but nothing extraordinary. I enjoyed the potatoes that came as a side. For the price, I don’t think this restaurant is worth the money. It’s not that the food was bad, it just wasn’t anything special. For special occasions, I would recommend Prime 88 instead. It’s pretty unlikely we’ll return to Nouvelle Cuisine.

It was good. I've never had elk before. It was very tender and not gamey. The chocolate lava cake was delicious.

The way to go here is to let her come around and tell you all the specials. I think you should listen to her recommendations. She recommended the carrot soup, which doesn't sound amazing, but it was.

The service was good. You will wait, but they are making everyone's food to order.

Quite possibly the best meal you will have in your life. Recommendations include the lamb with chef’s (brown) sauce, the elk and the seafood Florentine. Absolutely get the French onion soup, the seafood crepes and the frog legs (trust me, they are amazing).
Dip your bread in the garlic butter for the frog legs. This is a place to try new things and surprise yourself.

If they have it, the rabbit is something everyone should try, but it is not a regular item like the ones listed above.

Reservations are recommended, especially during snowbird season.

The team at the front of the house is great at helping you pair your meal with a great beer or wine (no liquor, sorry). I’ve never even had an average meal there. Just know that this isn’t a place to eat if you are in a rush. Great food takes time and theirs is great time after time.

An absolute treasure in the middle of Spring Hill . I felt like I stepped into a place in my old hood in New Caanan CT. Decor and atmosphere top notch. Service and knowledge outstanding. Relaxed staff , attentive care and food was flavorful, with perfect textures and aroma and hot when hot and cold when cold!
I had the rack of lamb and my husband the special pork chop. We ordered the molted lava cake for dessert. Out of this world. For the special night but so worth the money! One of a kind restaurant in this area! Merci beaucoup!

My husband and I finally got to try this restaurant and WOW the food was delicious! Living in nyc and working in a French restaurant when I was younger this restaurant didn’t disappoint. There were quite a bit of classical French options and everything we had was absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp in butter sauce and escargot as appetizers and had so much flavor. Had the lamb chops and filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection and the portion was huge. We only had a few bites of the entree because we were full from the appetizers. One must visit it’s that good esp in Spring Hill! Can’t wait to go back!

After our second visit I wanted to leave a review, because everyone should eat here. The prices are on point, the food is exceptional, if I could rate it higher I would, the service is outstanding, what a gem this place is, I can’t say it enough.

I got the porterhouse (last time the Elk) and the wife had the Filet both times. She likes it well done, and the filet is still amazing. Temperatures are perfect, the carrot soup is great!

Everything is as it should be, and the potatoes, oh man, if I had no other reason to go back (which I have tons) I would just for the potatoes.

My compliments to the chef and of course our amazing host and waitress!

We will be back cause I must try the lamb and then tag Gordon Ramsay, cause I know he would be impressed!
