A nice local place in Irvington right by the station and close to the river. Portions are huge. Each dish had a lot of flavors and was very satisfying. Lamb sausage was fantastic, and it comes with pita and taziki. I had pasta with duck, and it was very, very good. Our waiter was very charismatic, was always there to check on us, great service.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at MP Taverna! The food was incredibly delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Outstanding meal. Called and friendly host adjusted our reservation. Waiter was friendly, funny and great. Food was really amazing and creative.
This place is very popular with locals. Have had several terrific experiences here in the past several years.

Since it was a nice day, we dined outdoors. And while you can see the Hudson River, the view outdoors is somewhat obstructed by the parking lot. The food on the other hand was top notch. We got the tzatziki and pita as a starter, the pita was grilled and tzatziki fresh made. I ordered a sangria which came garnished with candied and what seemed like frozen dried fruits, and was perfect for the summer as well as refreshing. Followed by the Black Angus Hanger Steak Souvlaki served with Smashed fries which absolutely hit the spot. Portion was a good size and nicely presented, and the steak was perfectly cooked to my requested steak doneness. Then they brought out a cannoli as compliment from the chef that was just the perfect ending to our meal. Light, not overly sweet with a zest of citrus. We really enjoyed our dining experience here and cannot wait to come back

Charming decor, outstanding service and food that will make you want to come back time and time again. My mother and I stopped in for lunch while passing through the area. Our timing was fortunate as we were treated to service by none other than Chef Michael Psilakis himself. He gave a beautiful description of how the lamb shank was prepared and sold me on the dish. All in all we had a 10/10 experience and can't wait to return with more of our family to enjoy another delightful dining experience.

This place is located in a nice place close to the river. Nice patio area for the summer. Seafood is fresh to the table and the cooking keeps its original taste with some spice. Paella is a big plate with very nice juice and the shrimp is a highlight. Cocktail is just average. Service is good. Nice to have complimentary dessert.

The owner takes care of his customers . He is the epitome of a small business owner. We visited Sunday while there was a large party and he took the time to make sure we were comfortable. Food on point , service on point. And the vibe very comfortable but classy. Don't underestimate the outside .

These are the most amazing smashed fries you will ever have in your life. They’re exactly what you want a french fry to be nice and crispy, a cross between a potato chip and a thick cut fry, but so delicious. The owner is kind and generous and sent us over a delicious fresh cannoli. The Lamb Burger is just the best ever. Do yourself a favor and order it.
