C’est le meilleur restaurant que nous ayons fait pendant notre séjour en Ecosse. L’ambiance club britannique au bar est à vivre. La salle de restaurant avec vu sur le jardin a réussi à garder calme notre petit. Et la cuisine ? L’agneau était très bien cuit. Du niveau de nos gastro français. C’est le seul restaurant de notre séjour où les viandes étaient cuite correctement. L’équipe de serveurs était au petit soin. Et nous avons pu échanger quelques mots avec le patron très amical. C’est une adresse que nous inscrivons dans notre carnet pour un prochain voyage.

We were at the Moffat campsite and came here every day. Best place in Moffat. The food is amazing! Staff are so welcoming and friendly. And all so dog friendly, we had dinner a la carte menu with our dog at our feet in a beautiful garden room. The whole hotel has a warm, relaxing feel and is beautifully decorated. And it has the cheapest drink in town. Can't recommend enough.

Room 15, upstairs and not the largest hotel room we've ever been in but clean and nicely decorated with a good sized en suite and a decent shower. They have a very good kitchen and the food produced was of a high standard, those guys know their business. Breakfast is a touch on the small side which really was the only downside to our visit. Would definitely return.

Dining Room Experience: First class food, superby cooked, well presented, and served by friendly, accomodating staff. A 'fine dining' experience. Staff really friendly, helpful and pleasant; nothing was any trouble.

Love coming here when we are at Moffat Campsite - the food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and approachable - only downside is the two old codgers singing on a Sunday afternoon - this is 2024 not 1974 and the music is dire - there's more music than Blues - every Sunday we are here so are they and it's depressing

On Holiday in Moffat popped in for lunch.
Korean chicken, Ceasar salad excellent ?
Service was very impressive. Lovely decor belive it's just been refurbished.
Sat in the conservatory with the ? made most welcome with a dog bowl.

Perfectly located right in the heart of the town. Elegantly set back from the road, with a real stately feel. Inside is warm & welcoming, and sumptuously decorated.
Sunday lunch was superb, and great value at £24 for 3 courses. The sirloin was beautifully tender and tasty; all the trimmings were perfectly cooked, and everything was nice and hot. The serving team was brilliant - there when you need them, invisible when you don't, exactly as it should be.
Wish we could've stayed all afternoon!
Thank you all for making our visit perfect. We are now planning to stay over too.
