Ok, I was over in Mesquite off I30 for my brother in-laws Dr Appt. He was gonna be there awhile. I did a fast google search and choose this location.

Lets say this seems to be a hidden location. I was met at the front counter and Waitress said " sit anywhere." Maybe 14 tables total. I ordered the Special Omelet with hash browns, biscuits and gravy and a side of avocado. All was very well prepared, avocado was fresh and seems like the biscuits were grilled some.

I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage, and it was delicious! Great portions for low price. We received excellent service from our host Melly, who also shared some recommendations for places we might like to check out in Plano since we were visiting from out of state 🙂 Thanks Melly!! They say first impressions are important because you will always remember. Well we went in and by the time we got service the waitress seemed angry and ask what do you want to drink. Walked off came back with our drinks and took our order. Got our order and didn't see her again. The lady that helped us called her mom.
Service was really bad so it doesn't matter what the food was like. We left to pay and she still didn't say a word to us. While I was waiting for my wife she had the nerve to go to the table and look for the tip. There wasn't one and she didn't even clean our table. Won't go back to that place anymore.

You come in & seat yourself. Be prepared to wait a while as there's only 1 waitress. The place is way outdated but the food was decent. Needs salt/pepper to enhance the flavor. They charge extra for every little thing. Was charged $2 for extra onions. While this wouldn't be my first choice of a restaurant, it would be a place to go for a decent breakfast.

Breakfast is excellent. Nice portions. Wait staff could be more efficient, plus they don't offer coffee refills unless you ask.

It was okay. Scrambled eggs were super dry, biscuits were good, gravy was fine. The chicken fried steak was not from scratch. We got service to take our order and to drop it off. Otherwise nothing else. Kid at next table screamed the entire time we ate.
