After noticing its high ratings online, we visited this eatery and were intrigued to discover that it operates more like a pop-up serving fusion Filipino cuisine. The outdoor seating area consists of a few benches, giving it a somewhat temporary feel, though we did observe that they are constructing a more permanent restaurant space right behind.

The food was enjoyable, though not particularly remarkable. The lechon kawali was satisfactory, but it might have benefited from a traditional dipping sauce. The Pork Liempo and the pickled radish (Atchara) were tasty, although it would be interesting to try them with pickled papaya for a more authentic touch. Additionally, we felt that the meat portions could have been more balanced in relation to the rice served alongside.

On a positive note, the Pandan coconut milk tea and calamansi mango puree juice were delightful, offering a refreshing taste without being overly sweet. We did notice that the dining area could use some improvement in cleanliness. We look forward to returning to explore their full menu once the new restaurant is completed.

Wow, just wow!

The food here is AMAZING! We ended up ordering half the menu and not one dish disappointed. Home made ube ice cream for the halo halo was the cherry on top.

This truck knows how to crush Filipino food. Thank you!

So happy to have found this gem in my own neighborhood! So far I’ve tried the Beef Lumpia, Tocino Pork Dumplings, and the Salted Ube Caramel Mylk Tea Boba. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to try the bao buns next!

We got the lechón kawali, the tocino dumplings, and the back buns. We really enjoyed the tocino dumplings but the lechón was a bit dry and we wished the bao buns had more meat in them. Other than that presentation was great and the employees at the food truck were friendly. Hoping they will have the chicken skewers in stock for next time!

Great food! We ordered the mochi fried chicken tossed in adobo glaze and the five spice BBQ liempo rice platters. Flavors were bold and well balanced, especially with the pickled veg on the side. We also tried the salted Ube caramel cold brew which was delicious and uniquely flavored. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The rice was disgusting, it gave the taste of toilet detergent. the chicken was raw. And if you are on a diet, I wouldn’t recommend this food to you. Spicy, greasy and a lot of vinegar and other additives in the food then cause abdominal pain. Fermented salads were also not tasty. Waiting for the order takes longer than expected. And the cost is not justified

Update: They changed their menu so they no longer have mushroom bao, but the mochi chicken bao is also very good! I got it with raw garlic instead of crispy garlic and without the pickles, plus raw white onions added to it. I liked the mushroom one better but I'm glad they have a new one I still like. Their tamarind fries are great, too, as well as the banana ketchup and tamarind aoli! The fries are sssoooo good in the tamarind aoli!! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious mushroom bao! The ube mylk tea with boba was really good and I loved the jelly stars in the other drink! The dumplings were pretty good, but the bao were definitely the favorite [we ordered a second round of the bao they were so yummy] 🙂 Thank you!
