The best fries ever, quality potatoes cooked to perfection, not too greasy or oily with lots of potato inside, sprinkled with a dash of Parmesan and green flakes. The burger was top notch as well, you can actually taste each high quality ingredient prepared just the way you want. The hibiscus lemonade is a must have: super refreshing with real blueberry, strawberry, and lemon pieces added. Even the coffee cup was so high quality that it did not burn my hand when I held it, unlike the cheap ones most restaurants use. If you are in the area this is probably the highest recommended place by all. Great staff and service, checking up on you and making sure that every dish was to your satisfaction.

My wife and I went for breakfast and the first observation I made was how nicely the restaurant was decorated. It appeared clean and organized. I did notice an odd smell that none of the other reviews seem to mention and we were told it was from the pool supply store next door. Not really within their control.

The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. I got the biscuits and gravy. Definitely in my top five biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Also the home fries are deep fried and nice and crunchy. The eggs were cooked exactly to order. I also got a side of the cheese grits. They weren’t as good as grandma’s but better than a lot of diners.

My wife got the salmon avocado toast. It was packed with heaping portions of salmon and avocado.

Overall it was a great experience and we will be back to try lunch and dinner!

Wow. The burgers are amazing. The cocktails are amazing. I would recommend the Fiery Dragon and the Pain Killer. Denver was our waitress she was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. She is a hoot. I got the buffalo Chicken fried with grilled onions with fries.

Excellent food. Service is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait!
Owner and executive Chef, Patrick, is exceptional in making sure everything is perfect. If it's not, he personally makes it right.
Both the filet mignon and the salmon dinner is Michelin Star worthy. The lunch Reuben sandwich is gigantic in size and flavor. Sadly, the hambergers are only mediocre and the French fries, although delicious taste wise, came out extremely limp instead of crispy.
The short rib soup/stew was a special of the day and was to die for!!
The Italian cake is fabulous with a cup of their fresh brewed coffee. If your looking for a great dessert cake that is not sickening sweet, the Italian cake fits the bill. Their chocolate cake is huge and enough for 2 people. It is also delicious.
The atmosphere is delightful. The Black and white theme creates a fine dining experience even though they are just painted booths. But painted or not, the Atmosphere is very nice. The music plays quietly (vs blaring like in most restaurants) and is a composition of very nice relaxing jazz (which is a great touch with the black & white decor).
I have yet to try their breakfast, but will be soon.
This is by far my new favorite restaurant. If you haven't been, give it a try. It will become your favorite too.

You haven't tried eating here yet? What are you waiting for? Very good food coming from a menu with a varied selection. The staff is extremely polite and engaging, and the interior and ambiance are great for either intimate dining or for family. We aren't local, and were passing through when we chose to stop here and eat. We met Bobbi Jo and Alex, the proprietors, and they took the time to explain the concept of the restaurant and the food to us. We are marking this restaurant to come back to when passing through again.

Went there just a few weeks after they opened for dinner and had a great experience. The food was delicious (meatloaf and scallop dinners) … kudos to the Chef…and Bobby Jo, our server, catered to our every need before we know we needed it. Highly recommended!

First time visit review. This was just around noon time restaurant was not busy. Staff is very attentive and friendly restaurant itself is very clean but it's all white with bright lights not very cozy and no ambiance it is like eating in a cafeteria or hospital. Sadly there are not enough booths or places to sit for two. The booths are uncomfortable and are made from 2x4's painted white. I ordered the pub burger and a cappuccino also an unsweet tee plus a dessert. The burger was undercooked and tasted very dry to me. I ordered it medium and it came out looking raw. They offered to fix the issue but I was hungry and I'm on medication and needed to eat so I ate the hamburger, the dessert and sweet tea were ok, cappuccino not so much as it used local beans from Gainesville not true Italian also I will be trying again in the near future to give them a second chance.

Emily took great care of my husband and I. She made us feel very welcome! She let us know her mother and father own the restaurant and it started as a food truck. They also cater. I got the lobster club with rosemary parmesan fries and my husband got the ruben w/ soup of the day, broccoli cheddar. The food was absolutely delicious. Although we were visiting Ocala from St. Augustine, we are originally from NYC and know great food when we taste it! If you are in the area, make sure you try this place out.There is a wonderful variety of food and drinks on the menu.
