I stopped by after hearing from a random stranger at the nearby park, recommended their hand made onion rings. They stated that they always stop in Cadillac just for these onion rings and stopped at the park to eat outside before continuing their journey north.
My experience was no less inspiring. The fantastic venue itself has multiple rooms and is outfitted to host many guests comfortably. The onion rings were indeed the best that I ever had. The service was good and everything that I got tasted amazing.

Met up with a friend I’ve known forever to have dinner outside by the water. The service was so-so. It took longer than it should to have drinks brought, and orders taken. Also there were items forgotten that were ordered. Good news I wasn’t charged for them.

The food was good and I love when salad dressings are made in house. We enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather.

Besides the service I would go back and try the place again.

Family Fun Adventures

First time eating at Lakeside Charlie's and we enjoyed it! The tables have a beautiful view of the lake, the booth are very big and offer seclusion for a nice date night. The seats in the booth aren't super comfy though, there's no padding on the seats. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The waitress could have been a bit friendlier and should havechecked on us as well during our meal.

Ate in the bar. Very cozy. I had the chicken taco salad. It was very good. Tried my friend's tomato feta soup and wet burrito. Both were very good. They also had fresh brewed ice tea.

Had the pound of shrimp for dinner and it was amazing. The shrimp were cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning. The deep fried mushrooms were huge! And we got it as an appetizer, there were alot for an appetizer. Everything was yummy and the service was great. Very nice waitress.

Grabbed a chef salad for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. Delicious ham, turkey, hard boiled egg and cheese. The Lettuce was fresh and veggies were plentiful. But that homemade ranch dressing was the star of the show!! This will definitely be my new go-to stop for a fresh salad. The staff was also very friendly and kindly.

Drove in from Grand Rapids, needed to eat dinner, looked up places to eat, and Lakeside Charlies won the vote. It took a minute to get seated, but once we were noticed standing and waiting for a table, things went swimingly. The server was super friendly and answered our myriad of questions with a smile and nothing but niceness. The hostess chatted with us for a long time and gave us all the places to go in the area, she was a sweetheart. The food was great, we had clamp chowder, potato skins and my sandwich was very tasty. I can't remember the name of the sandwich but it had gouda, and it was good-a. The best thing we had was the beer battered mushrooms. You have to try these!!

Flew into Cadillac-Wexford County Michigan airport late in the day.
Keith, the airport manager, waited on us to arrive after hours and suggested Lakeside Charlies for dinner. The perfect choice, Fair prices and good food.
