We have just returned from 2 weeks at La Palanque and had a fantastic time.
The gite accomodation is modern and stylish with everything you need. The pool area is great and we used the pizza oven a couple of times which is a nice feature.
Within walking distance of the local market town of Eymet which is a really nice place for family meals out.

Brilliant base from which to explore the dordogne further which we did.

Tasha was always helpful and the morning pastries and bread were a nice touch

Would definitely recommend and very family friendly.

La Palanque is incredible and we were so happy with our holiday choice - we have a baby and a 3 year old who loved the playgrounds and pool alike, it really was perfect. The Gite also was immaculate in decor etc (the bedding and towels were super and I loved the cot, baby towels and teddy too - plus the hessian bag of goodies every morning), and we loved the bikes and badminton racket etc (lovely surprise).

Tasha was also amazing - so helpful and friendly, she made our holiday (we loved the holiday shop being done for arrival and the handbook too)! Perhaps we will get a babysitter next time!

We also loved the village of Eymet - just a 15 min walk away.

Our flight was cancelled and we were delayed by 24 hours thanks to BA. But Tash and the team at La Palanque helped us out with some shopping so we arrived with a stocked fridge, and a warm welcome. The location is superb, the Gites are very well kitted out with very comfortable beds. Our children met some new friends at the pool which kept them well occupied. the local town of Eymet is ideal for family dinners out and a great local market. We also saw vineyards and there are plenty to choose from. Finally the weather was sublime, 27 every day. The owners of La Palanque have put a huge amount of work and creativity in their vision. Well worth a visit.

A truly fabulous place with quality accommodation featuring all mod cons, and was very clean and tidy. The pool was superb and kept our kids entertained all week with the slides and inflatables. In addition there’s a large trampoline, basket ball hoop, football nets, and outdoor table tennis table - this was greatly enjoyed by my son and I. Also bikes available to borrow for a ride out. The walk to Eymet was about 10mins so not too far, Eymet itself is a magical place with great places to eat and drink, plus a couple of superb markets. Overall a really superb holiday and I’m sure we’ll be back!

My wife and I have recently returned from another wonderful week at La Palanque, sharing 'Sequoia' with friends. La Palanque has now become a very welcome fixture in our holiday planning!

We had excellent warm weather during our stay but the property's magnificent swimming pool provided the opportunity to cool off, as needed. We also took full advantage of La Palanque's 25 acres and took a tour around the area most days.

I must also mention our concierge, Tasha, who worked hard at looking after us and other guests so well. Thank you also to the people who maintain the 25 acres in such a good state for guests.

La Palanque offers excellent accommodation with easy access to some of the best towns and attractions in the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne. We're now thinking ahead to 2024 - need I say more?!

My wife and I have recently returned from a wonderful week at La Palanque - our third stay. After the travel restrictions of the last two and a half years, this holiday was very keenly anticipated!

La Palanque was, unsurprisingly, as good as ever.

The accommodation standards continue to be very high indeed which reflects the investment in, and the standard of finish that has been applied to, the property. The grounds are idyllic and offer something for guests of all ages and La Palanque also has a magnificent child friendly swimming pool.

Fresh bread and croissants were waiting for us on our doorstep each morning and La Palanque's concierge, Tasha, was always readily available to share her knowledge of current local events of interest, assist with restaurant bookings etc.

La Palanque provides truly excellent accommodation in a wonderful part of France.

We were a group of 20 and the grounds had everything for everyone. The pool is huge and it was nice to be so close to Eymet. Tasha was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions. I recommend using their concierge service to organise a wine tasting/tour and a lunch. It was absolutely amazing. Great week!
