Excellent service and atmosphere, the food was good but not great. I ordered linguine with shrimp, scallops and the muscles were terrible but could have just been the time of year. The people I ate with enjoyed their meals. I had a business meeting and it was the perfect setting. Went with no reservations for lunch at Noon and got a table outside immediately. Definitely need reservations for inside. I highly recommend for the ambiance, excellent service in every way. Very friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. I enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was immaculate in terms of cleanliness.

Visiting from San Francisco where I have eaten many times at Il Fornaio locations in the Bay area, I bumped into the Irvine location on a Monday night. The food has always been good but the service and layout of the Irvine restaurant was great as was the atmosphere.

Very pleasant and well maintained restaurant. Had the ravioli zucca. Only downside is public parking is in a parking garage down the street but there is valet parking too.

The restaurant's setting is quite nice. Food was good but not great. Service was indifferent. They served us bread after we sat down and charged us $4 on the bill even though we did not ask for it, which puts me off enough to not want to go back again.

Loved everything here. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and delicious, the atmosphere was incredible. My food was so hot I know it was freshly made. This has been the best day I've ever had dining out, I rarely give 5 stars but everything about today was just so magical. Fresh pasta and pizza wow, just everything we ate was so delicious

Nice location, spacious area and restaurant.
The staff is very easy-going and friendly as much as their guests. Easy to talk to other people, especially if you will sit at the bar.
Jana from the Bar staff took good care of me and my friend.
Good food.
