Words cannot describe how much I love this restaurant. Their food is amazing, and the price is great. Everything I’ve had here has been superb. Spring rolls, tempura shrimp, shrimp fried rice, ramen, steak fried rice, their vegetables, everything. The customer service is amazing. I call, and they already know what I want. Much appreciative of this business for all around service.

Ate the Tepenyaki steak and broccoli with sweet tea for lunch. Service was attentive. I had the salad instead of the soup. My medium rare steak was very good, better than some restaurant chains! The price before tip was about the same as a Wendy's Dave's Double combo. Definitely will go again for lunch!

This place wowed me from start to finish!!! Cutest little lady serving, fast service, and food I want to come back for again and again. Lunch prices are great, regular prices are still affordable and the portions are pretty good. The flavors were outstanding and everything was made perfectly. Not one single complaint. Even the unassuming onion soup had me draining the bowl like a little kid at the end of a cereal bowl. Can’t recommend enough!!

I have to say, food wise, this is one of my favorite Japanese grills. The fried rice has a soft texture and is tasty. The chicken, shrimp and steak are cooked to perfection and not overcooked. The spring rolls are come out fresh, hot and crispy. The sauces compliment the food and definitely elevates the experience. Our server was kind, attentive and sweet. If you like Japanese style noodles, seared meats and rice, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Ichiban is a great place to bring a date, family and friends. If you are reading this drop what you are doing and go now!!

The food here was absolutely amazing.
After more than a week here in the states, we finally ate at a place where the food was impeccably prepared with high quality ingredients and great pure taste.
The experience became even more enjoyable of the fact that we spent $$$ the evening before at a “high end restaurant” which despite all its pizazz couldn’t deliver the same quality of preparation and taste.

A couple of days later, we arrived five minutes before closing time. And they still took time to prepare a delicious meal for us. The Soba Noodles were as tasty and impeccably prepared as the prior dishes we had.

Please don’t hesitate to try this wonderful restaurant if you ever visit San Antonio?

Visited Ichiban at 7pm on a Saturday, party of two. There was no wait, and we were seated immediately. There was only one server, and she bounced between the tables, but we never felt overlooked.

We ended up getting the fried gyoza and cheesestick appetizer. Both very good and perfectly cooked and crispy. We each got a hibachi plate, no veggies. I got the steak and scallops. The steak was standard hibachi steak, but the scallops were outstanding. Perfectly cooked. My wife got the steak and chicken, and she enjoyed them and our oldest son enjoyed her leftovers.

The pricing was amazing. Nearly half the cost of the more showy restaurants with shows, and just as quality cooked. We'll definitely come back.
