En mi visita por estos rumbos, mi cuñado encontró este lugar, la verdad quedé sorprendido, de las mejores hamburguesas que llegué a comer en Estados Unidos, sus papas son increíbles! Crujiente por fuera, suave por dentro de un modo excelente. La atención de calidad y amabilidad se podía percibir, recomiendo totalmente este sitio para recargar energía y comer una buena hamburguesa Americana!

Hunger Junction is an absolute gem located at the crossroads of the Rockies, and it left us thoroughly impressed with its exceptional service and delicious food.

Firstly, the service was the real highlight of our visit. Despite ordering at the takeout window, we were greeted warmly and efficiently guided to a cozy inside dining room. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made us feel like valued guests from start to finish.

Now, onto the food – it was phenomenal! I indulged in the Rocky Mountain Fries topped with pulled pork, and every bite was a burst of flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the pulled pork was tender and savory, topped with just the right amount of barbecue goodness. My wife opted for the Rib Plate, and she was delighted with the fall-off-the-bone tender ribs and delectable barbecue sauce.

The atmosphere inside was welcoming and relaxed, offering a perfect setting to enjoy our meal. Despite ordering takeout, the dining experience felt personalized and enjoyable, thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff.

I got the pulled pork plate With potato salad and cowboy beans on the side, to go. The potato salad, Was perfect and cold with a slight crunch and mustard zing. The beans were unique with a rich sauce and molasses BBQ taste. The pulled pork was smoked well rubbed and juicy, probably the best I'll ever have. BBQ sauce on the side was amazing also but didn't need much as the meat was so amazing.

The couple running this restaurant are genuinely friendly, good-hearted people. They extended my pup and me a couple gestures of kindness that may have seemed small, but they unknowingly turned my evening around.
I had the Reuben based on their recommendation - the beef had been cooked in a smoker for 14hrs if I remember correctly - easily the best corned beef I've ever had. I opted for fried okra instead of fries and it was perfectly crispy. I highly recommend this place if you're craving comfort food.

If you're traveling through the area, I highly recommend stopping by! The food is fantastic, and the customer service is incredibly friendly. The owner gifted us free soft serve ice cream, which was a nice bonus! The 80s music added a fun vibe, and eating on the patio was a great way to enjoy the meal. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! I really appreciated the free refills, and they weren’t stingy with the ranch either. Plus, it's very affordable compared to most places in the area, which was a bonus being on a budget. I’ll definitely be back to try the pulled pork plate. All around, a great place to visit!

We (my mother and I) we're on a trip up to Gunnison, and pulled off to grab a bite to eat. Everyone working was incredibly nice, and the food was so insanely good, we had to stop again on our way back down the very next day!

Definition of an incredible, local, hole-in-the-wall eating place, and deserves every one of the 5 stars! The pulled pork alone could be worth the drive to get here.
