Everything I had was good. Catfish, cabbage, northern beans, black eyed peas, rice, beef tips, fried green tomatoes, peach cobbler with ice cream, and strawberry shortcake! Waitress definitely displayed southern hospitality. Will definitely return when in Tampa, shucks may even drive from Sanford when visiting family.

This is probably my favorite country buffet I've ever eaten at. My favorites were the sweet potato casserole, the black-eyed peas, the sweet rolls, the mashed potatoes, and gravy, the fried chicken, and the turkey in gravy. So I loved a lot of stuff! They have collard greens, corn casserole, soups, a salad bar, dessert bar, and plenty of drinks.
The waitress was always filling our drinks and everything seemed nice and clean. It smelled so good even when we were walking inside from the parking lot.
I wish there was one near where I live. There were a lot of people in there, but there was never a weight at the buffet. Everything flowed very well and everybody was very friendly.

Fred’s Market is the king of buffets! A popular local restaurant here in Plant City, you’ll find high quality food while getting the convenience of having many options. With a country vibe, the service here is very attentive, and regularly puts away dishes & checks on food. However, this place is starting to get expensive.

During lunch, the food here can be very good! I found the fried fish, biscuits, and mashed potatoes to be top tier items. The Mac and cheese & chicken were also delicious. However, I found the salmon disappointing. Overall, would recommend Fred’s Market if you’re looking for a high quality buffet.

First time ever coming here for the breakfast buffet and it was amazing for the price. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding. Also the atmosphere and service was amazing as well. I can say without a doubt my family and I will definitely be coming back.

One of the best southern buffets around. Great section, everything had good flavor and they even had fried green tomatoes on the buffet. This is a definite must go to if you are in the area. The waiter kept our drinks full and empty plates picked up. The salad bar looked good but I did not want to fill up on salad and not get a chance to try everything else. Still got full and did not get a chance to try everything I wanted. They do have a 10% discount for veterans also. Food on buffet was hot and fresh.

Omg the food is home cooking that you don't find anywhere else. I dare say this is as good as Great grandmother made. Please stop by and try this place. It is now my new favorite in Tampa Florida area. DEFINITELY in my Top 10 places in the USA 48 states main land. Even WAY better than Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsey in Vegas. That is my opinion at least. Also reasonable prices.

so delicious -- everything -- from the fried pork chops, to the fried green tomatoes and peach cobbler for breakfast. there is a sink in the restaurant where you must wash your hands and then put on the plastic gloves - great idea!!! our server omar was fantastic - very attentive and professional -- thank you michelle for ordering our shirts - thank you to all who work there!
we are truck drivers and love when we have a load in central florida as Fred’s is a must! most delicious authentic homemade food!
