We had a delicious lunch and we ordered the salmon salad and the turkey and bacon croissant sandwich and everything was absolutely delicious!!
The manager John, and staff are so friendly and it feels like a home away from home, we’re looking forward to coming back and trying more menu options!!

Brenda has been here for over 26 years. The food menu has stayed the same, and the vintage take on the classic tables and chairs makes this place so unique as well. Absolutely love it here.

From department store to restaurant this place has quite an interesting history, but more than just a good story this place has a good atmosphere, fabulous service and AMAZING food. We stopped in on a Thursday right as they opened and were warned they didn’t serve breakfast. That was okay with us and the waitress immediately brought out warm mini muffins with a pineapple butter. Delicious! We ordered fried green tomatoes for the table and knew we made the right choice for restaurant. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the pork schnitzel (it’s a toss up as to whose food was better). Even the sides were incredible. All the servers who came by were so sweet. We are just passing through but I highly recommend this spot!

Wow! Our first visit here! We were so excited because it’s been recommended by so many friends n we finally got to go! We had brunch. I had a bacon, egg n chz croissant a/acup of fresh fruit. It was amazing! My friends had chicken salad on a croissant & a Buttermilk waffle! all freshly homemade n delicious! The service was outstanding and yes we hit the gift shop too! Really cool Florida Cracker goodies! Prices were reasonable on everything! We will def be back again, hopefully soon!

It was okay, nothing to write home about. I'm from the South and grew up eating homemade Southern food. This seemed more like a restaurant created by someone who isn't from the South but took some of the recipes and did their best with them. The food was under seasoned and way overpriced, you're mostly paying for the atmosphere here. I was correct in my assumption that it seemed like a tourist trap. My family and I were placed at a nice big table by the window next to the hostess. I'm not sure the waitress and hostess knew we could hear them very clearly as our waitress discussed her blisters with her coworker while we tried to eat.

We had gone there for brunch the Saturday before Mothers Day (as they are closed on Sunday), and the food and service were incredible. But I saw on the menu they had made-from-scratch corned beef hash that I simply had to try, so when Fathers Day rolled around we headed back! And I am so very glad we did.

The service was as incredible as before (Megan and Beverly took excellent care of us), and the food was beyond belief. My son got a waffle and some bacon, my wife got the Cristo Cracker breakfast sandwich (their version of a Monte Cristo), and I got the Cowboy Classic with the corned beef hash, two eggs (perfectly over easy) and a grilled biscuit. We also split a cinnamon roll and an order of sausage gravy and biscuits for the table. (the cinnamon roll disappeared before I could get a picture!)

Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing, and that corned beef hash was the absolute best I've had that I can remember. I usually don't order it in restaurants because it ends up being that canned junk, but there was definitely "NO CAN IN SIGHT" (as the menu claims for that item).

I don't know if the comments I added as captions for the pictures got saved or not, but I'll just simply say that this place gets my highest recommendation and we will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back.

I’ll start with dessert, the coconut cake is delicious! They drizzle it with lemon, lemon
Filling and very light whipped frosting. It’s the best of the South baking!
Ordered the schnitzel with the side of squash casserole and potatoes which was excellent.
The corn beef sandwich with their own take on the dressing is very good.
The ice tea is extremely fresh!
When you sit down the muffin of the day with fresh butter or spread is amazing.
If your in or around Dade City it worth the drive, lots of nice southern restaurants in this town.
