All the 5 star reviews are warranted. This is some of the best food I’ve had in San Antonio. From the service to the atmosphere to the food…everything was top notch.

It’s a small restaurant so I could imagine it getting busy on a weekend morning. We arrived about 2pm for a late lunch. We were able to get a table right away and order at the counter. The restaurant was still almost full at this time.

Our group ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, pancakes, the loaded potatoes, and kids chicken strips. Everything was great!

So many gluten free options. Chicken strips are made in house. Potatoes had the perfect crispness. So much attention to detail for the execution of the meals.

Will definitely be back!

I can’t believe I’ve never been here!!

I found Elise on Happy Cow (the vegan/vegetarian food guide app) and was pleasantly surprised. Normally I only expect to see one or two vegan options, but Elise has something for everybody! My son and I were waiting on line and a very nice man from the kitchen came to give us a menu to get started. He was very accommodating and thorough while explaining the vegan options on the menu, and provided great recommendations.

I upgraded the chicken pesto sandwich to the vegan option, with perfectly crispy potatoes and a cozy lentil soup. My toddler had a vegan grilled cheese with fruit and black beans, and to my surprise he loved all of it. We also shared a hibiscus lemonade and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the perfect drink for cooling off on a hot day. The food was so flavorful, the portion sizes were perfect, and the atmosphere was very homey and comfortable. We didn’t wait long for food. Staff asked me how the food was and I said it was the best vegan food I’ve had in San Antonio so far. I also had an oat milk cappuccino on my way out and staff was kind enough to make it for me even though they were getting ready to close.

It’s right by the YMCA/SA Public Library so we will definitely be back again some time. I told my mom I want to take her here too. I need that hibiscus lemonade again!!

I love coming to eat at Elise Cuisine! I haven't found something on the menu I haven't enjoyed.

The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, and no matter how busy it gets remain respectful and swift.

As a big coffee fan, their brew and espresso is roasted a bit dark for my liking. But overall it's still very solid.

I have not gone here in person yet, but I have ordered from DoorDash and I have really enjoyed my food every single time. They always get my order right and my food is always nice and warm. I’m looking forward to going in person sometime soon since it has a nice breakfast / brunch menu.

Elise Cuisine is a lovely spot for a nice breakfast or lunch. A variety of choices for everyone to enjoy. The London Smog Latte was wonderful. The chicken and waffles were delicious. Just look at the photos. Stop in and enjoy. So worth it!

Great breakfast spot in San Antonio, where it seems like traditional breakfast spots are hard to come by.

Although I wish there was more room for seating and faster wait times. I totally recommend and love the food.

The staff is friendly enough , and the atmosphere is alright, it’s a great place to start your day.
