Really good food, properly cooked and wonderful service. Erica took our order and bought it over, she was SO friendly. We loved everything from the shrimp burrito and chimichangas. The horchata and Tamarindo juices were out of this world. This could be my new spot.

My daughter and I just stop by for a quick dinner, the people are amazing, so sweet. The food highly recommend. We had roast pork with yellow rice and beans; also pork tacos. Their sauces were fire, delicious

Mexican Latin Food in Forest Hills. Home made food cooked fresh daily. Amazing tacos, roasted chicken and pork is my favorite. You can beat price for their specials. For $24 I got good size container of roasted pork, yellow rice, small beans you can get choice of salad or fried plantains and large soda. That’s pretty good deal for so much food. Staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Forest Hills is not knowing for Mexican food but this spot is one of my favorite.

Last Saturday night went with family members to get dinner from this place. There was a gal with a bun on her hair and on the heavier side since I don’t know her name. He was a bit rude from the start. When she asked my orders I told her one order first and she said what else I was still deciding asked if she can make the first order since it’s premade and I would tell her. With a disgusting attitude he said no I need to know both orders before I start doing the first which is mind boggling because it wouldn’t affect anything other restaurants never had a problem. I said okay. Then she never came back to help me even after I waited until she finished with other customer thinking she would come back. Then I gave her another chance waited again she went to take phone calls and ignored me. So we just left. Never want to leave a review but this was warranted and important to let the owner and customers know what happened. I will never be going back and family friends also is banning this place because of this rude worker and experience at this place.

My husband and I walked by El Rey Latino many times and we didn’t pay attention to them due to their humble exterior. Their reviews on yelp are also not outstanding but they are one of the most popular restaurants on seamless for delivery.

It’s Cinco de Mayo today so we decided to have Mexican food for dinner. We ordered Bistec Huarache ($10.45), Carne Enchilada Quesadilla ($9.1), Calamari Fritos ($9.9) and 3 Leches Cake ($4.7). We scheduled to have delivery at 6:00pm and they were really on time.

Overall, their food was decent and our favorite was the 3 Leches Cake. It was super creamy, sweet but not greasy at all and will be the reason we order again or visit shortly.
