This place is incredible. The owners are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and their food is SO amazing. The proportions are so great for the price. You HAVE to try the pupusas and I could drink their mild and spicy salsas. Don’t forget dessert, either. So good with a coffee 🙂

We traveled from Dallas to discover this gem. Latin Cousin is a fusion of Veracruz-style and Honduran cuisine. This place takes you straight to Veracruz, Mexico, through its flavors. For over 15 years, I’ve visited restaurants all across Texas, and Latin Cousin is undoubtedly in my top 3. Run by its very kind owners and served by Alexa, their waitress. Thank you for making our day!

I recently had a date at D Restaurant Latin Cuisine in Waxahachie, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is perfect for a cozy evening—intimate and welcoming. I ordered the chicken empanadas , and they were out of this world! The flavors were rich and delicious, making each bite a treat.

The owners, Sarah and Carlos, are wonderful people who really make you feel at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re looking for a nice spot for a date or just a great meal, I highly recommend D Restaurant. You won’t regret it!

This is an absolute gem!! I'm not from the area and trying this place was a complete impromptu, but I am already committed to driving over 1 hour just to come back here! The food was incredible and was just getting better the more we tried it! Our waitress was Eliona and she was amazing! All of her recommendations were spot on and she kept checking on us every time with a beautiful smile! Love the experience and will definitely be back!

This is our go-to place for fresh, authentic Latin food. Clean, bright, happy atmosphere… friendly owners, excellent bartender and outstanding service! But… it’s all about the delicious FOOD! We have just worked our way down the menu, and everything has been amazing! We’ve been for brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu changes, and we always look forward to the new additions and inventive new drinks. Do yourself a favor and go… and chat with Carlos or Sara about the food, or ask Matt about the drinks. You’ll feel like a VIP by the time you are done!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was not very busy, which disappoints me because this place was super yummy! My friend ordered the omelet and said it was very good. I ordered the sour cream and chicken enchiladas, while they were overall very good, the sauce was more cheesy than a traditional sour cream sauce. I also ordered the D margarita, which came in a fun huge glass and tasted like a classic marg. I couldn’t really decide if I liked the homemade tortilla chips as they were pretty greasy, but the salsa and black bean dip were very good. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. Overall it was a good experience, and I am looking forward to coming back and trying new plates.

This place is outstanding! I had the lamb burger and it was very good. The meat is local and tasted so fresh. The Shrimp Pasta was the star of the night! The shrimp were huge and the sauce was some of the best I have ever had. We will make a point to come here all the time for that pasta dish! Run to this place, don't walk! It also has a bar with excellent drinks!

I met a new friend at the D Restaurant in Waxahachie for a first date! We ordered some of the Empanadas Argentina's which were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful! I ordered the Pollo Guisado and my friend ordered the Lamb Tacos plate. I also asked for the spicy salsa and my date requested the mild salsa. I really enjoyed my chicken and made a couple of tacos out of the meat and put some of the salsa in them. I did not feel that the spicy salsa was very spicy. My friend indicated her mild salsa was fairly spicy to her but, I did not try it myself. The service was perfect and I really enjoyed some of the tastefully placed art in this establishment! I will definitely visit again so I can try some more of their creations here!
