Everyone there is so super friendly and amazing! The food is great... DO NOT TIP WITH CREDIT CARD the person you are trying to tip does not receive the tip, management keeps credit card tips which to me that's pretty messed up and definitely not right

Are you tired of all the fast food chains on your roadtrip? Do you need a meal that reminds you of home with hearty delicious flavors and ingredients? Then head on down to the Cougar Cave Cafe in the Conoco! My cheese burger left me with a smile on my face, and a question in mind, how would the double cheeseburger have tasted? Great food, very kind service. I will be back for the double cheeseburger, mark my words.

I lived in Benton City for a couple of years. This gas station diner is the friendliest gas station I have ever been to! One of their greatest employees, Diego is always quick, smiling, helpful, and goes out of his way to help me whether I need propane. Whether it's something I'm looking for in the store. Very, very friendly. I wish he was our employee!!

Not exactly the kind of café I as expecting, I generaly go for more of a sit down and eat place. Kinda sad that they only really do "to-go". I believe they have an outdoor seating area that's not being used.
The food isn't bad, especially for a gas station café. The biscuits and gravy were alright. Personally I would like more pepper in the gravy, but I really like pepper, it was a nice thickness. The biscuits seemed a little flat, especially for the amount of gravy. I would also recommend cutting up the sausage a bit smaller, and putting it on top of the gravy.
I only had a taste of the fench toast my gf got, that being said, I would recommend adding nutmeg, with a little ground cloves, maybe even a smidge of ginger.

I think the biggest appeal for the place is that it's an on the road café, and not having the outdoor seating area open, if I'm not mistaken, is missing out on that appeal for people driving by or stopping for a meal. I wouldn't want to order food and eat it In my car after driving, having that scenery change is nice, but if your going to close the outdoor seating, what's the point in keeping the café open, to sit at the two small tables crammed in front of the register? I would also HIGHLY recommend getting a larger printed menu, kinda like banner style, I almost didn't see the two laminated printer papers taped to the wall.
