There was a death in our family. On November 7 a family member died suddenly from a massive heart attack. I called on November 8 of this year to order food for all the family and visitors coming together. In the order there was three large Italian wedding soups. When we opened them to serve, they were sour. Several people tasted it and it was sour. I called the Collegeville bakery spoke to a woman who was in charge. She assured me she would reimburse my credit card was never reimbursed. Yes, this place is phenomenal with their food. I’ve never eaten anything bad. But the soup was sour .

Came here for the first time a week ago. Ended up trying the Norristown Red Top pie.

We've been back three times since, and will absolutely be back weekly at a minimum for the foreseeable future.

This pizza was sensational, so crisp and so flavorful. Perfectly balanced. We've tried a few other times since we've been back, like the buffalo cutlet sandwich which is also very good.

Simply amazing food! Picked up the "Holy Grail Calzone" which is a family favorite! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. We've also enjoyed so many other great things from this place from the wood fired wings to the Bangin Cutlet and its all so so good! If you dine in, it's a true neighborhood/family atmosphere. There's a reason this place is a staple in the community. They make great food at a good price in a friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to trying breakfast next!

My in-laws came in from out of state, and we wanted to go somewhere with a great cheesesteak and found Collegeville Italian Bakery. The decor is almost overwhelming as there are so many photos of famous patrons. It really is cool. The woodfire that they cook on adds a wow factor and the best flavor. The menu is quite large, and it is definitely a go-to for desserts. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles that had a wonderful maple glaze with it. My son had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a Nutella milkshake. My in-laws split a generously sized cheesesteak. I had a Thanksgiving Boli and a S'mores Girl Scout Cookie milkshake. That stromboli was huge!! It was stuffed with cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and turkey. It is a Wednesday only offering and absolutely amazing! You can pick up some amazing baked goods to take home as well. We loved our visit and will try to get out there again sometime.

I’m only halfway through it but I am ready to crown the breakfast sandwich - eggs, cheese and kielbasa on Kaiser - the best I have ever had. First time here and, so far, my biggest issue is that there is way too much to choose from. That said, I know for certain that I will be leaving with a tomato pie AND a Stocks pound cake. Stocks pound cake in Collegeville? I’m a sucker for Stocks but all of the other baked goods looked great. Really old school and authentic. And you have to feel something for a place that has this kind of setup in the men’s room. So glad I made it here.

The food is AMAZING here. Any of the chicken cutlet sandwiches will leave you wondering how soon you can come back. We have done eat in and take out and am never disappointed!! Since they are also a bakery their bread is delicious. Eat in is a self order than they bring to your table place but they are fairly quick getting the homemade food out. So good!!!

They do so much in this one building! Huge variety of pizza, sandwiches, wings, ice cream, and more. I’ve only tried a fraction of what they offer, but it’s always fantastic. I always get takeout but it’s a fun place to sit and eat too. Favorites: buffalo wings (hot, with blue cheese), curly fries, Oreo milkshake.
