This food was a 10/10! Me and my boyfriend are from Texas and we know what good Mexican food is. This is good Mexican food! Highly recommend, don’t think the 4.5 does this place justice. This exceeded our expectations in every way.

Being from Mexico, it’s tough to find authentic Mexican food in the US. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of places that try. But Cielo Oaxaca crushed it. Their tamales weee wrapped in banana leaves, in the Oaxaca style. The mole chicken stuffing was delightful with just a hint of spice. My wife’s shrimp and steak platter was covered with a generous portion of melted cheese. The shrimp were gigantic!

My favorite item was the nopal salad. If you haven’t tried nopales, they are a cactus salad and one of the most unique aspects of the Mexican cuisine. Some might say only a Mexican could love them. Try them and let me know if I’m wrong.

Don’t miss the orcharta water. Tastes a lot like a chai tea. Another Mexican classic!

I have had two amazing experiences taking out food from Cielo Oaxaca in Frisco. The food is so delicious, fresh, and filling. The service and employees are wonderful. I would recommend Cielo Oaxaca to any family or friend visiting town. I will definitely be coming back for more. If I could I would bring Cielo Oaxaca with me back to Connecticut.

Cute little restaurant! I really enjoyed the food here. I got the smothered burrito with green sauce and steak and it was absolutely delicious. I didn’t finish the burrito since it was so large, and I was pleasantly surprised when the leftover burrito microwaved was just as tasty. I would definitely recommend coming here for a meal if you’re in the area. Extremely reasonable prices for the area, too. Parking was also simple and easy.

The chips and salsa are home made. I had the rotessire chicken plate. The beans, grilled onions and jolipino peppers were delicious. Real authentic Mexican food. I didn't get any chips and salsa even after the waiter came up and said "chips are coming"

If you are in the Frisco area, and every other place is busy and you feel like you are running out of options, well... This is the place to be and eat at!! Got to the restaurant just in time before their evening rush hour. Their options are amazing! The menu is not big, is just perfect for what one could be looking to eat and their portions are very generous. Had some horchata, guacamole and their torta de pollo and I even asked for them to add a fried egg in the torta... Wow my inside kid was more than pleased. The service was phenomenal, very attentive and ambiance was perfect! Gracias por todo!
