I feel quite disappointed with this place and their customer service.
We ordered takeout and they didn't include utensils, sauces, salt, anything like that.
We waited for the order in the front patio (completely empty except for one table) while two girls came out to check very rudely why we were sitting in their patio.
When they finally gave us the order, we asked for the missing utensils and the girl with a very bad attitude told us that they were reserved for people dining in and that "people should just grab their food and leave", implying that we should leave the sitting area immediately.
Speaking of the food, it really wasn't impressive, in the gyro the "mixed" meat was quite dry, one or two tomatoes and onions.
It's not worth the poor customer service, the price is average and the flavor is not amazing.

I was on a bike ride and on my way home saw this place. Decided I would order food there later when I ended up getting hungry.

I got the Gyro Melt, Chicken Breast Pita, Baklava, and Carrot Cake.

The Gyro Patty Melt and Carrot Cake were fantastic. They both were well seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

The Chicken Breast Pita was the dryest and blandest thing I've eaten in a while. The tomatoes within the pita were "roughly chopped" and about 2" by 1" which, along with the dry thick cuts of chicken, a pain to eat.

Worst of all, the baklava was uncooked and inedible. The dough was raw and it was swimming in a pool of liquids.

Chef zorbas is a true neighborhood establishment. They are an excellent member of the community before we even get to the food. The restaurant welcomes all people and even has treats for the neighborhood pups. The staff has very low turnover and become friends after a few meals (shout out to Steve!)

I get the two egg breakfast as I do at most diners. The coffee is excellent. The meals is hearty and delicious. For lunch the gyro is delicious. Every member of the family will find something they like.

We've always loved coming to Chef Zorba's when we're in that part of town! The food is always good, service is good. I especially love the gyro sandwich - so good! I got fries and my son got the chips and I definitely wish I would've gotten those instead - next time!

I go to Zorba's often on Saturday or Sunday's for breakfast. We were a party of 4 that went tonight after the Denver Botanical Gardens Christmas light show. It was disappointing on many levels. A member of the staff stated that the Botanical Gardens were sending them business when they only had 2 waitresses and 1 bus boy. Not your customers problems. Ordered fries and requested to please deliver them hot as they never are hot on past visits. The waitress informed us that she could not guarantee that the fries would be hot as they were too busy. I then said forget the fries on my order. When the orders came for the our party of 4 at dinner 1 dinner order was missing. They couldn't figure that out until we identified we were missing an entrée. The manager came out and asked what had happened and what she might do. As requested, I started to explain what had happened and the manager immediately started to interrupt on the explanation that she herself requested. Had to request water each time we wanted our glass refilled. At this point without going into further comments it is time to take a break from this establishment!

Wonderful restaurant in the middle of a 100+ year-old uptown residential neighborhood. Welcoming staff, pleasing aesthetics, warm atmosphere, fair prices, delicious grilled chicken Caesar salad! I lunch there with my sister who has Alzheimer's, and the staff is always incredibly kind and patient. We've been there several times and will continue to return.

I had lunch at this cute place and ordered the gyro plate. It was good but I wished I had ordered something with more vegetables. The best part was the wedding cookie for dessert.
Nice atmosphere and easy street parking within a block.

Update: Feb 2023

Dinner fare this time.

After much back and forth between the Moussaka and Pork chops, the meat won and no regrets. Delicious and have to make special mention of their mashed potatoes which, I hardly ever touch but, this got me!

Hubby got the Gyro Plate ?.

Sadly, they were out of Rice puddings. (Another reason for going back.)
Instead got:
Wedding cookie - sorry, but I found it too dry.
Blueberry muffin was ?.

First visit on a weekday, noon.
Luckily, no wait as table available. A lot of diners and continuous in and out of diners during our visit.

Ordered:
Pancakes
Eggs
Gyro Plate
(with the Lemon Chicken and Rice soup & Mac n Cheese as side)

Huge serving of pancakes and eggs that even my hubby couldn't finish it all.
Same is true for my Gyro Plate that I had some of the meat to go.

Have to make special mention of the Lemon Chicken and Rice soup....SUPERB!
If anything else, I 'd go back to Zorba's for that!
Saying that, it does not in any way, lessen the rating of the other food I had.
The Mac n Cheese and the Gyro was ? as well.

As we were really full but was not going to miss out on the bakery items, we also got to-go of their:
Bread Pudding
Rice Pudding
Baklava
and 1 other similar to the Baklava but with a different filling.
The staff couldn't really tell us it's name as she herself claimed, they have a nickname for it.
Well, we have devoured the 2 puddings and I personally ❣️ the Rice pudding while my husband ❣️ the Banana pudding.
Will get to the Baklava and the other one later.

Service is friendly and fast.

The atmosphere is casual and homey.
DEFINITELY recommend a visit!

Only regret is not being able to taste the Moussaka and the Pork Chop which, we will definitely have on our next visit for dinner.

Will definitely visit soon!
