Such an amazing place, the food was top notch! And the owner is so friendly, kind, and accommodating. Highly highly recommend. We visited for our wedding anniversary and I’d definitely return! My husband said the best steak he’s had in the UK.

I shared delicious empanadas (beef, ham/cheese), steak, with creamed spinach & mashed potatoes and a flan to complete the meal, with my 12-year-old daughter and we were pretty full by the end of the meal. Good service. Unfortunately no wifi connection although a password was provided. The location is easy to pinpoint so calling an Uber after dinner was a breeze.

Table for 2.
We were greeted with a warm cheerful welcome.
Our table was of adequate size.
A bottle of Potrero Reserva Malbec was ordered whilst we perused the menu. It was a good choice.

Starters chosen were Empanadas and Soft Mocilla.
For us, the Empanadas were the weakest part of the menu. They were deep fried, rathere than baked which was a miss for us. The Morcilla on the other hand was an absolute hit. Both soft and flavourful, it brought back fond memories of our time in Buenos Aires. So delicious.

Mains chosen were Ribeye and Special Cut Ribeye (Rib Cap).
Both were cooked as ordered in our case medium. Both were tender. The cap is a cut not often seen and was a real treat.
A salad was also ordered however this was chunky clumsy heavy salad rather than a clean green salad which to our mind would have been a better bet. Personal choice.

Dessert
For us it had Panqueques and Churros both with Dulce de leche. These were sweet delicious and moreish. Highly recommended.

The wait staff were polite attentive and happy in their service. Which timed perfectly and at a realistic pace.

A very enjoyable dinner and evening was had. We will certainly return. Next time, with friends. Highly recommended Argentinian Steakhouse 10/10

We had a lovely dinner at Chamuyo. We ordered the Bife ancho medium rare and they cooked it perfectly. They have a nice range of sides, such as the spinach and the mushrooms. We also ordered the grilled cheese and even if it is not served as you would get it in Argentina or Uruguay (in a round kind of tray), it was great.

Our family of three ordered fillet steak, pasta of the day and lamb chops recommended by the restaurant. The lamb chops ordered by my wife are a bit over-cookrd. Mydaughter left some spaghetti in the dish. The fillet steak I ordered was specially cut by the restaurant itself and cannot be considered authentic fillet. It has tendons and small bones inside, but the roasting statue is quite perfect.

Everything about Chamuyo is great - a very understated and unassuming place, that serves the best steak in Brighton, without any doubt at all.

The Rib-eye Special (Churrasco De Ancho) is the one to go for - it is very special indeed. All of the sides were great - we had Chunky Steak Chips and Sauteed Spinach.

If you're feeling peckish, then order the calamari to start - it was epic!

If you haven't been, get yourself down there - it will not disappoint!

Absolutely spot on ?I love my steaks and at Chamuyo Brighton they definitely know how to cook and serve a steak ? the restaurant is lovely and has a nice atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff ? we enjoyed our meal very much Thanks ? ?
