A wonderful café. The staff and drink was great. The atmosphere was clean, and inviting. I could tell the staff built good rapport with regular customers. To new customers, including myself, they gave a good recommendation and were genuinely interested in getting to know me. If I ever go back to Milwaukee I’ll definitely stop by.

I stayed over at the Hyatt hotel and always prefer to visit this cafe over Starbucks. It has better coffee than Starbucks because I can actually taste the coffee. The cafe has lots of different coffee beans and does awesome latte art!

We had the sweet potato and everything bagel croissants and the cinnamon roll muffin with a hot caramel latte and a chai latte. All of our beverages and pastries were absolutely delightful. This is the perfect place to study, work, or just grab a coffee!

My wife and I recently stopped in here for the first time to have some time to ourselves and to try a new coffee bar.
I tried their ice cream latte as shown in the picture, and my wife had their cereal latte which I believe at the time of going was Cookie Crisp.
Unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed.
For $5+ coffees, we were hoping for quite the drink.
My drink tasted just incredibly sweet, and my wife’s had no taste of the cereal; more or less just the bitter espresso that was in it.
The atmosphere was very enjoyable while we played cards, and the employees were very kind.
The atmosphere is very nice as well.
Overall, I think we were just surprised by our drinks outcome for what we ordered.

Canary is the Venteux Brasserie Cafe of Milwaukee. I’ve returned many times. Very nice atmosphere in the late morning, and always very peaceful. Similarly to Discourse coffee, Canary has a very fun seasonal menu, playing with a few untraditional ingredients and flavors. I had the blueberry muffin and an oatmilk iced chai. They encourage dining in to reduce waste, even using reusable metal straws. With super nice staff, this may be one of the more personable cafes in milwaukee.

My Husband and I had the pleasure of stopping in this coffee shop when we were in Milwaukee earlier this month. Let me tell you, what a gem of a coffee shop this place is! The food and drinks are simply delicious...but the people, they are the real diamond of this establishment! I so wish this place was in my town of Marietta, Georgia. I am not sure when we will be back in Milwaukee, but whenever that is, we will return to Canary Coffee. Oh, as a side note, this place was so much the bomb for us that before we left town to return for our hotel in Chicago we stopped by a second time to get our coffee fix. Starbucks could really take some lessons from Canary!

Unique coffee bar experience and it’s such a hidden gem. We had to order take out but it would be nice for dine in options. It’s kinda pricey for coffee but it’s worth it
