Buena Pho is the best!!! It's my go-to restaurant in BV and my favorite spot to eat in town. It's a family-owned operation, and it's authentic Vietnamese food -- right in the middle of a pizzeria, in the middle of a small CO mountain town, no less! All the food is top-notch, the service is great and the staff are very friendly.

Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines and this is the best I've had in CO. The pho -- both the meat and vegan option -- is amazing, with hot, delicious, flavorful and savory broth and served with fresh lime, basil, scallions, jalapeños, red onion, rice noodles and bean sprouts (I recommend topping with hoisin sauce and sriracha). The thinly sliced meat in the soup is cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous.

The crispy fried egg rolls are also delectable and taste fresh -- filled with pork and shrimp, served with savory fish sauce and on a bed of lettuce with pickled carrots and daikon.

The vermicelli noodle bowl (Bún thịt nướng)
is yummy and feels light, healthy, and like a good warm-weather meal, with a rice vineagary flavor, pickled carrots, pickled daikon, cucumber, cilantro, fish sauce, grilled pork, crispy spring rolls, and lettuce.

For lunch at buena pho, my go-to is always the bánh mì -- served on the BEST crispy baguette rolls, filled with pork grilled perfectly, creamy mayo made in-house, rice vinegar, jalapeños, pickled carrot, pickled daikon, cucumber, and cilantro. Best banh mi on this side of the Mississippi!

Also the owner of the restaurant is really hot.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this stellar establishment I would!

Wow wow wow!!! I got takeout tonight and I cannot believe I’ve been sleeping on Buena Pho’s vegan options - I had their schedule mixed up and thought they were only open during the week and I only get takeout on weekends, but it’s offered every day they are open!! ? The vegan pho and fresh vegan spring rolls with peanut sauce were incredible, the flavors amazing! Will be getting this on repeat very regularly! Thank you for having amazing plant-based options - both pho and pizza!!

The pho here is absolutely amazing. We’ve had pho at many different restaurants but this was easily our favorite. I had the beef brisket and my wife had the rare steak. The star of the show is the delicious broth, and the beef brisket just melts in your mouth. The shop owner came out and asked us how it was and told us that the pho she makes is a family recipe. I highly recommend you come in and try it.

Happy Mother's Day to a great cook. The owner's mom (first generation Vietnamese) makes an incredible pho, so you'd better come by for some amazing soup that'll warm your heart and body. If you manage to have any room left, try the homemade egg rolls too.

Don’t be put off by going to a Pho restaurant inside a pizza place with no signs outside. Same family runs the pizzeria and the pho place. The far menu is limited, but… The food is absolutely fantastic.

We had the best spring rolls and the best for maybe ever. Give it a try. Don’t be in a hurry. And be open minded. You’ll be glad you did.

I was in Buena Vista for a wedding. The day after the wedding I showed up at Buena Pho in rough shape. This pho cured all my ailments. One of the best bowls of pho I've ever eaten. This pizza was delicious as well! 10/10 definitely recommend!

We got the brisket pho, spring rolls, eggrolls, and bahn mi; other than the bahn mi, which was tender, I was disappointed as it was just not the standard expirience, the spring rolls were marinated and had something with a vinegar taste, and the pho was not very flavorful and had the bean sprouts already cooked into the noodles, which I enjoyed but my sister did not, and is normally a customizable option. If it fits your taste, I'm sure it's wonderful, but we weren't huge fans.

Angie , the owner, knows her Pho. Super delicious and the best around. We go like 3x a month. Brittany is the best as well. Love this place. And BTW they have great pizza too
