I love the food. I actually think the older location had more charm, but this is pretty good too. The onion soup is a must. We were there at 4 in the afternoon and it was a little quiet. They turned the music on just as we were leaving, if you're open, play the music?. We'll be back

Nice French restaurant. Food was tasty, well prepared. Portions were a bit light. Service was attentive, ambiance could have a little more French flavor.

We had the most amazing experience at St. Germain! The service was perfect and the food divine!! We didn’t have a reservation, fortunately we got there shortly after they opened and they were able to seat us. I am so pleased we went there - it’s well worth a visit. Loved the atmosphere too. Very chic! If we lived in Ridgefield we’d definitely making St Germain a regular experience!

We recently had dinner here with a friend. We had the octopus salad - phenomenal. I had the Steak Frites - exceptional. My wife had the nightly special of scallops and shrimp - she loved it. Our friend had the Lobster in 2 Ways - she loved it as well. For dessert we had the Profiteroles (filled with vanilla ice cream) - a perfect end. Service was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Also, a beautiful setting to enjoy a dinner. This is the best restaurant in Ridgefield, if not Fairfield County. Can't wait to go back!

My first time in Brasserie here in town
Had attended two Christmas concerts that evening Friend and I wanted a quiet place for a drink It was COLD out that night
I wanted to try this place
Had the best Lobster Bisque of my 76 years

My friend had studied at Cordon Bleu in Paris.
She worked for Betty Crocker in Minneapokis then came to McCalls magazine in Manhattan Food Stylist
" Peggy they used the shells to make the britg base. Only way to get this intense lobster flavor.
This is the best Lobster Bique I ever had too"

I ordered a glass of Sancerre My favorite white Waiter said," What a pperfect choice with a fish based meal."
It was just an impromptu bite we were looking to enjoy.
We shared Profiteroles two enormous creme puffs small pitcher of chocolate sauce was perfect

Im not one for reviews but I had to on this one. My wife and I came here back in 2023 and it was fantastic. Espresso martinis were superb the waiter who speaks french, your name escapes me sir I apologize you were great, the blue cheese muscles were so good I ordered a 2nd order.
However this time we were sat with the waitress across from the great gentlemen and she didn't do a good job to put it plainly. To start off it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Espresso martinis tasted like Jaeger unfortunate not the end of the world.
The muscles this time were over done and dry as can be that was the star of the show last time so inconsistent to say the least.
My wife and I specifically asked for the cheese platter as we don't eat pork. Lo and behold we have a platter full of meat with little cheese. And by the way we were charged for the meat/ cheese plater! We did not eat nor complain about having to pay for it .
The waitress we had never asked us if anything was OK, in fact the great gentleman who served us last time and was on the other side of the dining room came and asked if everything was OK. I politely said it was. My server no where to be found after an extand period of time again ,I wave the gentleman over ask for a check immediately and he delivers. That man is the only saving grace of the entire night. I have never had to leave a restaurant and rush somewhere else before they closed for dinner. At least that place delivered. I wanted to make this place a regular spot but they absolutely destroyed that. Im going to add that my wife is french and that place originally made her feel like she was eating french food. 2nd go around ruined her birthday entirely. I'm not saying don't go im saying it is hit or miss in the most egregious way. If you go and sit in the back dining room sit on the left side with the gentleman. I cant comment on the front end service.

Came in to do some quick work and chat around but the atmosphere was very relaxed. Ended up sitting on the couch and was greeted by our server. Got a delicious bottle of wine, and skipped right to the meal.

I had the Beef bourguignon and my girlfriend had the steak frites. The beef bourguignon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. A very homey dish that comes I it's own mini iron pot with a side of fries and side salad. The steak frites was also cooked and seasoned very well. I recommend the peppercorn sauce for the side. Very flavorful and excellent with the steak or the fries.

Our dessert was the grand marnier souffle and the cafe gourmand. The souffle was light and fluffy, but be prepared to wait because it has to be made to order. The cafe gourmand is a bit of everything when it comes to french desserts and is a good plate to get a flavor of what Parisian treats are like. I highly recommend this place.
