Went to look for a nice cafe for breakfast and this place had vegan options and this place had a lot of great options! We liked it enough to come back for dinner too! Sandwiches are really good and vegan eaters have a menu as well as substitutes for meats in other items.

Great sandwich place with tables next to the creek. The restaurant has beautiful hanging baskets at the entrance- very pleasing! Their menu is huge: breakfast all day, sandwiches and drinks. Highly recommended

In a world where bad food is the norm, this place is a true gem! Their warm ciabatta breads and creative sandwich options are a refreshing change. And the portions are generous—we even ended up splitting a sandwich! Its proximity to the gondola makes it even more attractive.

I been living in Vail for 9 years, back in 2015 was the first time I ever tried Big Bear bistro and it was insane good.
The food for the last 2 years has been terrible and I only keep on coming back because of their location, I absolutely love sitting outside by the creek and its so close to the gondola.
The croissant for the breakfast sandwich its reheated, the ham taste terrible, it is not well put together, but last time I got the Alex breakfast and it was not edible, the eggs were supposed to be scrambled and they were dry like reheated, the bacon was ok, the potatoes were soft and bland and the toast wasn’t even toasted, there was a hair on the food as well.
I didn’t complain at the cashier because I can tell they are all J1s working seasonally and I feel that is just a dead end.
I also seen the lady which I awesome its the owner, yell at her employees multiple times so I am kind of scared of telling her how terrible this food is.
Its such a shame because the location it’s outstanding

Masterpiece sandwich was delicious and filling. Honey balsamic glaze tied everything together and neutralized the saltiness of the deli meats. Ciabatta was nice, but could have been enhanced by being toasted. Side was a bag of chips. Service was quick. I would eat here again.

Came here multiple times during my 3 days in Vail. This place is one of those eateries that is just amazingly delicious. Every plate I had was full of flavor, delicious, plentiful and quickly served! Definitely give this place a try. Be warned that it gets VERY busy at certain times and finding a table can be an issue. The breakfast burrito & crepe - wow!

Great breakfast place in Vail Village. Food is good and tasty. Small interior so be prepared for a lack of tables. Omelettes are good and filling. All in all, we were pleased with this place!

Terrible pancakes. Do not order those. Seriously just make them at home. The sandwhich was good not very big and not very full. The breakfast burrito was good, really small in length but pretty full of food except bacon they skipped out on lol. For a cafe in Vail it was pretty bad I was expecting something less.... trashy. It actually ruined my whole day coming here and it made me less likely to ever drive to Vail in the future. Dont go to this cafe.
