Had a lovely time. The atmosphere, service, food & was excellent. My favorite is the duck salad, it was so refreshing & when you bite into the duck in the salad you get that nice flavorful crisp. Everything was tasty from appetizer, salad, main course & dessert. Our waiter was very attentive, coming by & refilling our drinks or picking up our plates, even dusting off the crumbs on the table.

I forget if reservations are needed but we made reservations weeks in advance & when we arrived we are serviced very quickly. I recommend that if you're dining in Houston & if restaurants offer reservations take it.

Food was fantastic. We ordered 5 plates and none of them disappointed. Food came out on a decent rate.

Service. Man what a let down. We arrived on time for the reservation and we were seated 15 minutes later which is fine. An offer of water while we wait or something in the meantime is maybe something to provide when going into a one star Michelin restaurant.

We felt that other tables were getting more attention than we were for whatever reason.

The server was telling us what’s on the menu and after he was done we told him we are ready to order. He then said “hold on one second” went to the table adjacent to us. Served them wine spoke to them and then left to go somewhere else. He came back 5 minutes later and took our order. A simple I’ll be right with you would’ve been enough.
Server asked what are you celebrating we said birthday (this happened at the start) and at the end during dessert time he said “so how many years for the anniversary “.

They gave us the dessert menu and after 15-20 minutes later they asked what we will like for dessert.

We are not very picky but if we are going to a restaurant that has a Michelin star we just expect a little more.

Will we go there again? If they have a take out option yes.

The food is phenomenal! The pear salad was tasty and had surprising flavors, that when combined, were magical. I am not a salad lover...but I love this salad! I had the rabbit as my main course, and again, magical. This place does not miss! My Husband ordered the suckling pig...and cleared his plate. Said it was the best dish he's ever had. My Husband brought me to BCN for my birthday dinner, and the restaurant made me feel extra special. Perfect dinner, and would highly recommend for just about any occasion. Dress is business casual. Parking is tight, this is *almost* on a street corner, valet will be your most convenient option. Although nearly every patron was an adult, the table next to us did have a very well behaved young child in their party. (Though its to be noted, there is no seperate kids menu.) Enjoy!

Of all the restaurants in Houston, this is one of our favorites! The service was great, from the parking valet to the dining experience. Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes. All the food we ordered reminded us of our culinary travels in Spain! Highly recommended!

BCN Taste & Tradition absolutely blew us away! We drove down from Dallas to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was worth every mile. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations.

We started with the Patatas Bravas (I could eat these all night) & Iberico Jamón – rich, flavorful, and perfectly sliced. The pear salad was light and refreshing, the perfect balance to the decadent main courses. For entrées, we had the Branzino and the suckling pig – both were cooked to perfection, with incredible flavors and presentation.

The cocktails were just as impressive – crafted with care and creativity. And to top it all off, we were surrounded by Picasso sculptures, which added such a unique and elegant atmosphere to the evening.

BCN is truly a gem, and we’ll absolutely be making the trip again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

Also, a huge thank you to our server, Roberto for the incredible experience and the Manager who took the time to make sure we have the PERFECT seat.

We came here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! We have wanted to come here for years and had not been able to so now that they have their first Michelin star, we definitely wanted to check it out! BCN Taste & Tradition is known for their gin and tonics, and the coffee infused Valenciano Gin and Tonic was fantastic! The dishes were phenomenal too! We especially loved the Patatas Bravas! We also got a tour of the owner Ignacio Torras's private art collection including Pablo Picasso's owl jugs and Spanish artist Salvador Dalí’s art work at the end, which was a perfect way to end our experience here!

PRO'S: We ate at BCN last week. BCN awarded ONE Michelin Star last night. Excellent in all respects. I have eaten worldwide in great restaurants. BCN deserves this honor. The all Spanish wine list is world class. My main dish of rabbit loin on risotto was outstanding.

SUMMARY: BCN is a truly great Houston restaurant in a city with many excellent dining choices. Enjoy!

I went o BCN during Restaurant Week and I left with mixed feelings. They are known for the Gin Tonic but honestly I only felt the cucumber taste on mine rather than the mix of ingredients.

Overall, protein portions were small compared to the size of the plate and I don't think the cost vs benefit is worth it.

Service is great from reception to tables but not sure if I would be back.
