Found this gem when we visited during the Sleepy Hollow Street Fair and every restaurant had 1+ hour of wait times including our original option in the corner Bridge View Tavern and I’m so glad it worked out that way. We were seated within 10 minutes and waited about 15 minutes for the food.

We ordered the pork mofongo, seafood combo soup, steak with onions, and last but definitely the most exception was the fried chicken. While the other dishes were amazing, the fried chicken knocked the ball out the park. It’s hands down one of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had - crispy but not dry. Not to mention their portion sizes were huge! Two entree dishes were probably enough for 4 people as we were able to barely finish our food.

We also ordered the yuca fries with fried cheese and the juices. Only suggestion would probably be less sugar in the juices, but otherwise one of the best Dominican restaurants I’ve been to.

Delicious food, I loved the mofongo! Also liked the photos and paintings on the walls, a sweet atmosphere with kind people running the place.

mmmm... mofongo, yum! There was a hunk of pork skin in there, too. Everything is good here, but the mofongo is my fave. Extra gravy, please.
Highest satisfaction at times they are not swamped.
-1 star because it would be so much better with 1/2 the salt.

Food here is amazing! My go to place for Dominican/Spanish food. One of my Fave dish is the pork ribs stew. That sauce is unreal and the ribs are so tender. Really good portions for the price. Not big into beans but the only place I would eat them at. Those reds beans are legit!

The food here is fantastic and they give you plenty of it. I normally take my food to go but decided to dine in this time. Staff are always pleasant and offered fantastic recommendation. We had so much food that we took up 2 tables. The portions were so big that we took food home and had it the next day. It's a 40 minute drive for me to get to this restaurant but it is well worth it. I highly recommend this place as the food is good and plentiful as well as reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

Stop by for a quick lunch , i order a beef with sauteed onions wich had a funny gas taste , i let the waitress know about after paying cuz i wasn't looking to get anything for free from them , also order a slice of cake call biscocho dominicano , wich i had alot in several other places but this particular one was a bit dry wich i don't believe is supposed to be like it , first time experience was not great and i will not recomended

La comida no es tan mala pero no son nada higiénicos , desde q tu habres las puertas es la grasa/ sucio por todos lados en la puertas , ventas y piso, demasiado deseaseado , cuando pasas por la cosina , lo mismo , deberían ser más limpios , y les puede ir mejor . Pedí mofongo de chicharrón y me dieron es más plátano y casi nada de chicharrón .
