I ordered Bulalo today Nov 8, 2024 @ 5:30pm for take out. I was surprised when i reach home and open it. The meat was disgusting. Looks like left over brisket sliced in square and the whole knee bone. I know what is Bulalo. The bone was so big that is as almost as big of my elbow? The cravings turns into disappointment. If i coulf just come back and returned it i would but when i called them no one answering. Together with my order was pakbet and whole whole chicken.

I enjoyed the pork skewers and rice noodles/egg noodles mix. The bulaklak was crispy and served with a nice size side of vinegar. The pork skewers were a little fatty but overall such an intense but inviting flavor.

I tried a little bit from several dishes and the lechon was hands down my favorite thing they had. The pork was so full of flavor that I finally understood what it's like to be taken to flavortown and I will be going back there, especially with that sauce. Truly decadent. The crispy skin was also .

Everything else was good to pretty good, really no complaints! I doubt you could go wrong with any of the menu items if my selection is anything to go off of.

The waitress we had was also very kind and patient with us.

One of the best filipino restaurants I’ve ever been to. Love their sinigang and pork sisig. Their buko pandan was very refreshing. The staff were nice. Would definitely come back if I go to houston again.

Had lunch with my sons after playing a round of golf. Golf was lots of fun.

We decided to eat some Filipino food. And the Max’s food was good and tasty. It was our first time trying Max’s. And will definitely go back when we’re in the area. We ordered lots of food for three?

Max is the restaurant I frequently go to when I go visit the homeland. This place remind me of what I missed. The staff are friendly and attentive, the place itself is clean and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS!

Okay back again and tried the laing ths time. Although not my favorite, it was still delicious.

The fried chicken was ok but didn't taste like the one in Manila. But it was still good.
The liempo was delicious. The laing was ok - not as tasty as expected. It tastes more like mung bean with coconut. Overall, prices were reasonable but serving sizes were on the smaller side. The halo halo was perfect - shareable between 4 people! The flavors hit the spot!
Service was very good. The server (Myrna )was friendly, prompt and very attentive!

We always look fwd to our visits here after a long drive for hospital appointments. Our order is the same everytime, bulalo, pakbet. This time though, the pakbet was not good at all, eggplant was pale, sauce was runny, meat they used was stale, like they used leftovers, there were 2 pieces of shrimp. The bulalo, same, leftover beef not fresh at all and had a snell as well. We felt like the place is going down, very low quality food and not as clean. Server was friendly and he told the kitchen about our feedback on the food. Still paid in full. You guys might be closing down soon if this continues...makes me sad. We won't be going back soon, sooo dissappointed.
