My family and I have been to the raven social several times and always leave impressed! They are constantly bringing new things to their menu, and so far, they have been great change ups! Highly recommend giving their specials a try when they have them, but their normal menu items are delicious as well. If you are a mushroom fan definitely give their mushroom soup, mushroom ravioli, and jagerschnitzle(has mushrooms) a try! So delicious! Their staff is always very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Warm and inviting, yet edgy atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet evening for two, but also definitely roomy for a whole party. Good variety of dishes. I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the special. Both tasted great. We took a look at the banquet hall upstairs while there and it is decorated beautifully. Restaurant was decorated nicely too.

We were just passing through town looking for lunch. First impressions, not busy at all compared to the place across the street, Clam Lake Beer, who was a 40 minute wait for 2 on a Friday lunch. At the time of our seating, 4 small tables filled with 1 large family, then us. We were seated immediately.

They have a large bar in the back. Looks nice, totally empty.

We ordered waters and a soda (not time for the fun stuff yet)… that’s later tonight when we arrive in Elk Rapids. I LOVE THE ICE IN MY DRINK! those nice little nuggets of ice.

We ordered our food pretty soon after we were sat down. On my way to find the bathroom our host directed me back to the restrooms. 2 doors, both labeled “Whatever” in place of the traditional gender markings Male or Female. Meh ?

Food came out quick. It was very good!

My family and I had our Christmas get together at Raven Social today. We couldn’t have asked for higher quality food, and we each ordered a separate dish. Beyond the quality of our food, our servers, Kaden and Byron, were absolutely fantastic!
We will definitely return, and all six of us can’t wait to enjoy another amazing meal.

The beet salad was amazing! Seriously, I will go back every time I come back up to Cadillac to visit my parents just to have that beet salad! I can’t attest to any other food unfortunately, but the salad was really that good that I had to post about it!

Josalea was an amazing server! She took care of us during an insanely busy rush, was so pleasant, and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place! Great atmosphere. The fries, mushroom ravioli, and mushroom soup were absolutely AMAZING!

Rose was a great server, but a bit relaxed and prolonged. The atmosphere is nice but kinda bare in the back. The long bar seems like the place to hang with not a seat available when I entered.
I had the appetizer special of coconut shrimp, it was great and crunchy, with a sweet and sour sauce. The special of catfish is not a recommendation, it was very mushy. I did enjoy the sides of risotto but the vegetables were very watery and the amount of oil on the plate was in abundance and not necessary.
The cinnamon girl hard cider is not a recommendation. The cinnamon is not very strong but it does complete against the apple and takes away from the crispness that I like.
The creme Brule was not properly prepared and very runny and the top tasted burnt.
There are pool tables to spend some time at with a group of friends.

Definitely make reservations! We stopped in twice and both times were busy!!! Once at the bar once near that section. Service was a little slow bur but awful. We ordered the salad with smoked salmon and the Mac n cheese, both were so good!! The drinks are so unique too!! The place was so clean even the bathrooms!! Live the way they decorated!!! Loved it all!!
