"To legit, to quit". This is traditional ?, every other place, ( manistee,ludington,or benzie) 40 miles from this is just a tex Mexican knock off. It's family owned, new design on an old resteraunt favorite, and has actual legit food items you'd find in south Texas or sw Arizona. There's no fusion about it, and plenty of flavor and juicy slow cooked meat in every bite. Spice is mild to hot depending on how you like it. The service is great, wait is little to non ever. Do not pass this place up!!!!

The ordinary light blue building is easy to pass by. BUT don’t pass this place up! Amazing, high quality, authentic Mexican with every bite. For lunch, we ordered the fish tacos, vegetarian burrito and spicy burrito. Each was absolutely delicious — my vegetarian son said it was the best Mexican food he’d ever eaten. There’s a deck (with umbrellas) in back that provides a really nice Portage Lake view that was wonderful. In fact, our dog gave the back patio a resounding 4 paws up! ? Our server was lovely. Muchas Gracias Amigos! ?

Oh!!! You have to stop at this gem! I ordered a Burrito de la casa, and they were generous with all the meats and the shrimp in this beautiful burrito! My husband loves spicy with flavor, and that is exactly what he got. Usually, he has to ask for added grilled jalapeños to give him the heat he desires but not here! The food was amazing and we had no complaints at all! If you're looking for authentic Mexican with fantastic flavor, then look no further!

So nice to have an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the food was great. I got chicken tacos with cilantro and onion. The staff was very friendly. I was able to order online and easily pick it up. Definitely will return.

This was our first time eating here and we are sad it was on our last day, because we would've come back for more! We ate on the lovely back deck overlooking a marina on Portage Lake and experienced very attentive service. Everything was delicious, but the star of the meal was the Nachos Fajita "appetizer". Hands-down the best nachos ever. I'm not even a big nacho fan, but those are what I hope to come back for next year during our annual trip to Manistee/Onekama. These nachos would easily feed two people for a meal, unless I eat them ALL myself because they are that good. We also tried the grilled Fajitas Alambre, which were fantastic. Our kids reviewed the tacos as their favorite tacos ever. Even the kids cheeseburger (for my non-adventurous child) was impressive. We are already looking forward to next year's trip!

A hidden gem! Just 10 minutes from our stay at the casino. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Huge portion of chips and salsa. We enjoyed the patio seating with the view of the lake. Fair pricing and generous portions.

THE BEST PLACE FOR GREAT MEXICAN FOOD!!! Ordered the spicy burrito and that's EXACTLY what I got! Normally I have to ask for extra jalapenos, not here, it was PERFECT! DEFINITELY FOUND MY NEW PLACE FOR MEXICAN!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMIGOS IF YOU LOVE Good MEXICAN FOOD!!!
