OMG... This place is above and beyond
A true hidden Gem
The place is small but don't let the looks deceive you all the personnel are amazingly nice and really take care of you.
The food is incredible I have had the best omelette that I ever tried in the past 40 years and that's a lot....

Very cozy and relaxed place to get a good breakfast or brunch. The food is amazing and they make everything in house, you can feel the care in the taste and find a true homemade food. The good music background is always a plus! We go there almost every week! My best recommendations are the Eggs Benedict and the Stuffed French Toast.

We chose to eat at Gem when our original brunch reservation elsewhere didn't work out. We were welcomed with a smile and the service continued to be attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Menu options weren't anything beyond the norm, but the quality and flavor of every dish was extraordinary. They make their own bread for toast and their own biscuits, the omelette that I ordered was among the top five I've ever had (I ordered it with double cheddar, tomatoes, onion, and mushrooms). Everyone else really enjoyed their food and drinks too. I would highly recommend going for breakfast, brunch, or lunch if you are anywhere nearby.

Ordered 2 eggs, grits, sausage, biscuit, and side of pancakes. The eggs were somewhere between overcooked and burnt. The grits were lumpy and dry. The biscuit was dry. The crumbled into 20 pieces when I bit into it. The pancakes appeared to be Bisquick. Based on the other reviews, i can only assume that I came on an off day.

It's about time somebody did breakfast right!

I don't use these platforms to complain about restaurants you got enough people nitpicking.

I only take the time to communicate when and entrepreneur takes the time and effort to do it right.

The Gem Eatery is 10 to 10 for me.
Husband and wife team really knock it out the park, everything from scratch, the cutest restaurant with great atmosphere & attention to detail. tables Immaculate, real butter, real eggs, in house biscuits, muffins, and Cinnabons, plus real customer service & southern hospitality not to mention the food was phenomenal w/ hot coffee.

With so many Concepts having/choosing to cut cost and Corners it's noticeable that the GEM is sticking true to Quality ingredients and quality service.

If you go on the weekend expect awake but if you won't complain about waiting 5 hours for an iPhone don't complain about waiting 30 min to sit for excellent homemade from scratch food that you can tast.
I think Quality it's worth the wait, and REAL quality takes time. So says ME.
We will be back!!

Delicious homemade food! Lovely mom and pop restaurant. The location is definitely a gem 🙂 definitely give their cinnamon buns or the shrimp and grits a try.
