We came here for the 1st time food was delicious, The staff was amazing ? especially our waitress she was super nice !! But unfortunately we went and there was a fire in the building the day we went so kinda scary we all had to evacuate the building

The food was cheap and tasted cheap
especially the bacon and sausage but it was also very nice and comforting. Big meal for 18.50 so not bad I would definitely come back for a nice cheap comfort meal but if I'm looking for rich deep flavor I'll have to go somewhere else.

This is the classic greasy spoon diner of your dreams. The wait staff are always so down to earth and so friendly, they have an oddball cast of regular characters so the people watching as well as the ear hustling are worth the price of admission alone.
They have a huge menu...full of home made kitchen classics that hit all of the comfort food buttons. And they girls keep the coffee and wisecracks coming. I love this type of place and this location is one my statewide favorites.

Wow talk about stepping back in time! Im all about nostalgia, but this was way back. We were in a smoking section, yes a,smoking section. I still can't breathe. I couldn't tell you what anything tasted like because all I tasted was cigarettes. If you like to smoke with your meal. Head on down. I didn't get any pictures of the food because I couldn't tell you how it tasted.

Went with a friend that isn't used to traveling with a fatty, so he suggested this place. Atmosphere was greasy spoon, kinda cute. Sat in the smoking section so my friend could smoke and barely fit in the booth! These booths are old school, half round booths. Too deep! Not enough space! And the food was just soso. Ordered their signature burger, and it was a cafeteria classic. Not horrible, but not really good either. Fries and sweet tea were okay. Varied menu, maybe they do other things better than a burger but that's always my test of a new place. 35 bucks for 2 soso burgers, won't be back. This one didn't make marks.

If you’re looking for a 24-hour breakfast spot other than IHOP and Denny’s, well, Mama Lou’s is the place to go. Plenty of parking. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and asked if we wanted a smoking or non-smoking section. We chose non-smoking. Our drink orders are always the same depending on the restaurant we choose. Raspberry tea and pineapple juice, but they did not have either, so we went with the essential orange juice and water. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Our order was placed & came out and in an excellent, timely matter, piping hot, which is always a plus. The only thing was that the chicken fried steak was much smaller than the other 24-hour breakfast restaurant that we’ve been to. Also, if your Vegetarian, they do not have ANY TURKEY OPTIONS to choose from when it comes to the meat: no turkey sausage, no turkey bacon, no turkey patties, no turkey meatloaf

The location prevents it from being an easy on and off if you are traveling. There is a room for smokers and it could use some work, the smell of smoke invaded th we rest of the building. Would benefit from being closed for a week so the building could receive a deep cleaning. Servers were friendly with the regulars and polite, sorta, to none regulars.

Took 20 minutes for a waffle and some spaghetti noodles with chili on it called ahead and everything. Everything was not even warm. Got told 3 different prices. I grew up going here. Has gone down hill. Waste of $26. Sad experience. All cold and subpar. They stacked the chili on top so all of the rest of the food had chili sauce in it. Very inexperienced and ruined my meal
