The restaurant space is relatively small, clean and cozy.
The menu is not diverse but very high quality, I was completely overwhelmed and impressed with the way they presented the food on dishes.
The food was served quickly, the friendly staff suggested a seafood pancake that suited my taste.
The yakwa dessert is also a good choice.

Delicious ?. Very cute restaurant with a warm environment. Simplistic design but a great place for conversation and enjoyment of the food!! Service was great, they welcomed us in right away and there was no wait. (We did go on a Friday at 5pm) so it was starting to get busy after 6pm.
I don't think you can make a reservation so I would recommend going earlier in the day because it is a small restaurant with about 50 seats.
Food, can't say enough about it!! I love Bibimbap and this was one of the best I had!
Plenty of parking and a ramp for accessibility ♿️
Reasonably priced and great for a first date or a family lunch, dinner! Ballantyne is a continuously growing suburban community and it's in a great location.
I can't wait to go back.

My son requested to try this restaurant before we leave town and it was amazing. We most probably ordered 80% of their appetizer and everything was done to perfection. I will definitely visit this restaurant again when we go back to Charlotte.

Love authentic Korean & this is the place to go in Ballantyne for sure! You have to try the Gimbap, Dolsot Bibimbap & Mandoo. So delicious & full of flavor! The staff is friendly & will help explain any of the dishes, if you have questions or need recommendations. We dined in, which was wonderful but takeout seems like it would also be a great option. So many people doing that too! Must be popular!

I have a friend who is really into all types of Asian food. So when I saw this place on IG, I put it on our list to try. She absolutely loved the spicy Ramen she ordered. My food was juat okay. I felt it was a small portion for the price. Also, I really wanted some type of sauce as the chicken was a little dry.

This place is a huge letdown. The interiors are beautiful and the staff (owner/s?) are very nice, but that's it,

The Chicken gangjeong (Dakgangjeong) was the only decent thing we ordered.. I wish they had used dark meat instead. The chicken wasn't as crunchy as you'd want it to be. They could have used more potato starch. For the $12 I paid for this, the serving size is on the small side. $3 more would have gotten me eight pieces of Korean fried chicken from bb.q in Arboretum.

The beef sundubu (gogi sundubu-jigae) was SAD. Very underwhelming and bland. Very little spice (gochugaru) was used. There was also hardly any beef!!! And again, for the price I paid, I could have gotten more beef from a Cookout hamburger.

The Chicken deopbap (I don't know if this is their version of a true dakgalbi) was also very underhwleming and lacked flavor. The seasoning sauce lacked gochugaru, water, and syrup to give it that thick sauce. However, from all the things we oredered, this dish had an enormous amount of chicken.

Lastly, there was no Banchan..

There are a few Korean restaurants in Charlotte area (Matthews, Indian Trail, etc ).
We ordered Tteokbokki, Haemul Pajeon(Seafood green onion) pancake, Dolsot(Hot stone) Bibimbap, Seafood Sundubu Jjigae(Soft tofu Soup), Korean corndog.
I really enjoyed Tteokbokki ( in my opinion, I think this is the best Tteokbokki in NC), Sundubu Jjigae, Dolsot Bibimbap. The amount of food was pretty good. This is my first time visiting. I will definitely visit again ?

By far best authentic Korean food in Charlotte. They use more natural ingredients. Staff is super nice. Best part, super clean & chill environment. They have cold noodles which nowhere else’s have.
