I called to tell them my Togo order was wrong but she just told me “that’s how it comes” and how it was rang in, either way still wrong. But I didn’t feel like arguing and I wasn’t trying to be rude.

I ask for a sushi roll with Avocado, crab, cream cheese, cucumber and eel sauce on top.

I did not ask for California..
when I called she said the California add something was what I got. It was but it wasn’t what I ordered.

Mongolian beef was spicy, ate a little and the taste was good. Just too spicy.
They also forgot my side of green onion
But the white rice was fresh and not mushy.

The service was excellent, and I want to start by acknowledging that. However, my expectations were quite high given the pricing of this establishment, and unfortunately, they were not fully met. As a fan of another local sushi/Asian bistro, I was disappointed with my experience at Akahana. The sashimi didn’t seem as fresh as expected, with inconsistent cuts. Additionally, when I requested a bowl of rice (which I realize I should have clarified), I received hot long-grain white rice instead of the type typically paired with assorted fish. Also in the sun, we could see that cleaning the soy sauce bottles was not a priority.

Given this experience, I’ll likely stick with the places I know moving forward.

I took a party of 10 on an early Sunday afternoon for lunch. We were seated on time for our reservation, our server was experienced, our food was IMPECCABLE, and I hate this was our first time because I've been missing out.

Food is outstanding EVERY time my family goes there. It's not overly expensive compared to how good the food is.
Our family has likely tried 3/4 of the items on the menu.
The customer service there is excellent too.
Great staff at this location ?
The only thing that is a negative, it gets a little loud inside sometimes.
We will keep coming back.

We stopped off of I-40 in Belmont looking for lunch and found the Akahana just a short distance away. It is on the other side of the interstate from Belmont Abby and college. If you have time, stop by there too.
It wasn’t very busy and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very cordial.
I ordered Pad Thai and added shrimp. I order that regularly and it was as good as I expected. Lots of large shrimp.
My wife decided to be adventurous so she ordered the Vietnamese fried rice with shrimp. It was very tasty and she said that she would order it again.
Both orders were more than we could eat, so we added two spring rolls to our takeout bag and had a nice meal for lunch at home the next day.
If you want Asian food, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I had tofu and fried rice. My husband tried Hamachi Kama (yellow tuna) w/spicy basil stir-fry, brown rice. The service and atmosphere were wonderful ?. The flavors were spot on, except for tofu. It had no taste. Everything else was amazing ?!

Absolutely loved this little place, I came with a friend and we LOVED the food, the whole place is super nice and relaxing. The servers were all awesome and so sweet! Definitely a new favorite spot ☺️

The customer service is amazing and the food come out pretty quick. All the rolls were very tasty and delicious. There were 2 problems, the sodas were all flat and the hot and sour soup was bland. I expect more when this is a higher end restaurant.
